Of course you’re right. But I wasn’t thinking of this as decency. ChuckTheConstitution might well pull a stunt like releasing vulnerable senators and call it an act of good faith to preserve Senate tradition by allow 60 votes, after all. Here in Montana, Tester is on dangerous ground, yet he’s stuck by the party. Seemed an insanely self-destructive move. But if he throws a vote to Gorsuch, he can claim to be a patriotic player as well as a team player. You know, satisfy the base and make a blatantly manipulative play for more centrist voters.

I’ve been puzzled for days about their end game. That’s all I can think of. A pure act of cynicism disguised as decency.

Seems clever enough to be Trumpian. I think they’ll do it.

I do regret Ayotte got herself booted by an authentic Democrat, rather than winning with an “R” on her back.

I realize those States are blue up there, and Maine has that miserable Collins. But, Ayotte came in as a floppy eared birddog for McCain and Graham, the worst pair of snake oil salesmen in the Party. Collins at least stayed independent of constant camera shots with those two, while Kelly rode in on their coat tails and stayed their, perched on their arm as a ventriloquist’s dummy. Well... maybe not on McCain’s arm, but you get my drift.

I was so happy to see presumptuous RINO Cantor cantored, as well, and McCarthy set back on the shelf for his stupidity and hope the same for Paul F. Ryan.

Thankfully, Dave Bratt replaced Cantor. My point is these RINO trios and Gangs blocking or shoving issues around is bad for conservatives and they need knocked down. They have caused us a LOT of trouble.

Little fiefdoms can be diluted even if one of them must fall occasionally, to a Dem. At least it’s a shot across the bow.

I am not content when Democrats win; I’m never okay with that and greatly resent the RINOs who cheer the election of Democrats. There is a reason Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are in the minority and it has profound consequences.
