Donald Trump's decision to bomb Syria was influenced by his daughter, Ivanka, being "heartbroken and outraged" at the country's alleged chemical weapons attack, one of the president's sons told a British newspaper.
The president launched 59 cruise missiles at a Syrian government air base he alleged was involved in a chemical weapons attack that killed dozens of civilians last week.
Trump's 33-year-old son, Eric, told The Daily Telegraph on Monday that the strike was influenced in part by Ivanka, who he said was "heartbroken and outraged" by the chemical attack.

The weapons weren't supposed to be there; they were.
The weapons weren't supposed to be used; they were.
The weapons aren't there anymore, and can never be used again.

The question is an open one absent any evidence either way.
Meeting secretly with the head of planned barrenhood isn’t a great argument that she’s pro life though.
Ivanka is bigtime pro choice is she not?
You made the assertion, it’s yours to prove.
“Yacht Party to Warzone ready to wear.”
I thought it was strange that he didn’t have a belt. Is it now unfashionable to wear a belt with a blazer? I am always behind the fashion curve.
Meeting with the head of planned barrenhood works in my favor on this point.
Keep trying though.
Please don’t post to me about anything to do with Trump or his family unless it is a pro-Trump comment. I do not appreciate the fact that you and the never-Trumpers here are buying into every conspiracy theory known to man. You make me sick.
Again, do NOT post to me.
This Trump supporter never gave the 1st damn that Ivanka & her husband are Democrats. Those 2 along with Bannon, Kellyanne & others advised now President Trump all the way to the White House.
President Trump has proven repeatedly he will listen to all sides of any issue & then make his own decision.
What this all boils down to is do you trust President Trump. I do. Do you?
Don’t think I didn’t notice you ducked my earlier question which I will repeat now.
Do you trust President Trump? Yes or no, please.
I wouldn’t mind if a president had competent family members in his administration, but these two NYC thirty-somethings have absolutely no exposure to the real world. In Ivanka’s case, a reaction like this to media reports reads like something I’d expect from someone who watches 10 hours of television every day and knows absolutely nothing that isn’t shown on TV.
Tell us again about the Bing Crosby Porno Plot. I’m still working on the Al Jolson Blackface Conspiracy myself.
Nothing personal against the parties involved. But I foresaw that virtually every move the President makes now and for the next four years will be attacked rightly or wrongly by the Left as a move "stuck in his ear" by his daughter and son-in-law. Anything and everything that goes wrong will be dumped on the Kushners, wait and see.
The situation is both as troubling as it was unnecessary. We saw this "nepotism" and "inexperienced advisors" drumbeat starting immediately after the appointments, it's in the news today...and it will continue without cessation in the future.
I consider their appointments to official top security positions to be a mistake...and I don't know how it'll be rectified now.
Bear in mind that many on the Right are as dismayed as I am, and, as the old saying goes, we take our position more in sorrow than in anger.

Read carefully...I think I used the word “most”....
Give it up, Stickman. These people are nuts. They ignore all the positives (Tillerson has said this was a one-off) and fixate on the negatives. That includes Jared Kushner’s Ray-Bans.
This is disgusting behavior. Ivanka needs to be spanked and sent back to New York with her liberal husband.
Maybe,I might if I was trying to change their minds, and get them to look at reality.
Ivanka is bigtime pro choice is she not?
That is a statement (declarative) question and you know it.
So prove it. Be specific, direct in context quotes would be good.
For God’s sake, no one show Ivanka the photos of the starving children in North Korea.
I didn’t Duck it. I didn’t see it. I don’t really read your posts sometimes.
I can’t answer the question.
I don’t give blind trust TO ANYONE.
So I guess that is your answer.
