I have been trying to post a reply to the above-linked thread, Huma Abedin Files for Divorce all night. Instead, I get a constant "internal error" message. The moderators have given me the following advice:
"If no one else is having this problem, I suspect it may be an issue specific to the device youre using. Try clearing your browser cache (or try another browser all together). If that doesnt do it, try rebooting the device. There may be an available software update that may resolve your issue. If all else fails, its ok to post a vanity thread to see if the techies here could weigh in. Good luck."
This is a new computer, and the only browser I have is Microsoft Edge. So I restarted it and the error message persists, even though I can start threads. It remains impossible to contribute to existing threads. Please advise.
I seem to be able to reply/post comments.
Which leads me to...what the heck is that post?!
I think that you would have been better off not posting such nonsense. Maybe it was a message from God?
in before the “are you logged in?”.
I’ve seen that before. Is it some kind of in-joke?
Did you close your Italians?
It does no good to knock the comment or ask questions if the OP can’t reply. The quality of the post is not the immediate issue. The OP needs help figuring out why he/she can start threads but can’t post comments to existing threads. Maybe a techie-type will show up with suggestions.
It's FReeper Lore.
"Another one is "Am I logged on?" or "Are you logged on?" The first was someones vanity one time to see if they could post. The answer was obvious and he caught a ration. Now, if someone starts with the inane statements they are asked if they are logged on."
Pre-dates me, and I've been here a while.
I like that satirical post, especially point 4.
Yes, a Hugh one.
No worries. I just went over there and posted something.
On the other hand, however, what were State Department classified e-mails doing on his computer?
I can post replies and comments, but I don’t seem able to create a new post.
I second that emotion.
never use internal and huma in the same post
Download and use Mozilla Firefox for your browser.......That’s what I’m doing on my new computer.
Testing, testing, testing, ...
