I have been trying to post a reply to the above-linked thread, Huma Abedin Files for Divorce all night. Instead, I get a constant "internal error" message. The moderators have given me the following advice:
"If no one else is having this problem, I suspect it may be an issue specific to the device youre using. Try clearing your browser cache (or try another browser all together). If that doesnt do it, try rebooting the device. There may be an available software update that may resolve your issue. If all else fails, its ok to post a vanity thread to see if the techies here could weigh in. Good luck."
This is a new computer, and the only browser I have is Microsoft Edge. So I restarted it and the error message persists, even though I can start threads. It remains impossible to contribute to existing threads. Please advise.
You’re posting from Israel?
Well, it was an issue. It was bizarre.
Is your beeber set to stune? Try taking a shower and then log in.
Th I didn’t read it all that carefully. I was mainly scanning the thread to see if any trouble shooters had diagnosed the problem. In the process, it occurred to me how frustrating it would be to get comments on a post and not be able to respond. However, I notice that the recommendation has been made to download Mozilla Firefox and use that. I am curious whether that solves the issue.
the most threadbare, over-used, unfunny joke in the history of unfunny stuff.
it belongs in the same ash heap as stuned, beebers, and series.
it just keeps getting funnier every time they say it.
Thailand?
North Korea?
My best advice is to download a different web browser such as Chrome. Then, use that to get to FR and see what happens.
If it doesn’t happen, post a new thread and tell us.
This development makes my hair hurt.
RUSSIAN HACKING!
You must pay the ransom of a bottle of vodka.
Firefox, imo, is less desirable than Chrome or Safari. I haven’t tried running Safari, an Apple product, on a Windows 10 machine. I reckon it would work, just haven’t tried it.
But, I do know that some things work on one browser and not on another.
I agree with the others who say to download Firefox. In any event, everyone should have more than one browser on their computer. Two is better than one, three is better than two.
Try Firefox and if you still can’t post, then start another vanity thread in chat and maybe someone will come up with a fix.
Netscape is just fine
Chrome and Firefox usually will handle everything.
Firefox is getting a little bloated...have veered away from original
Don't forget the "Amish".
Make sure that the computer is plugged in.
That and i will expect more respect in the morning Danny H
