TEXAS -- One of the most eloquent opponents of Texas' proposed gender bathroom law began identifying as a girl four years ago, when she was 3.
It was at that age that Frank and Rachel Gonzales started to realize their child, Libby, wasn't living the life she was born to live.
It wasn't always clear to them how best to support their first born. While on a family trip to California, Rachel took Libby -- then still called by her birth name -- to the toy store. It was there that things "came to a boil."
"I said, 'You can pick out anything from the gift store,' " Rachel recalled. Libby pointed at a fairy costume with a pink skirt and wings. "This is what I want."

Is this not psychological child abuse?
The Texas legislature and Governor, Texas in general. Expected to endure the assaholic lectures of a 7 year old who wants to cut their penis off.

I would think I’d be used to these stories by now. But with each one, I get more disgusted than the last time. These people are mentally ill and parents who make their kids go transgender are child abusers. Will we eventually get over this madness?
Sexually abused is my guess.

Why would a parent that really loves a child do this to them? These adults are sicker than the child.

And another thing about this. The news tries to be correct. When they call it a “she”, does that mean they are referring to a girl that wants to be a boy? Or does that refer to a boy who suddenly wants a punk ballerina dress?

I’m sorry for these poor confused children but there is nothing for the parents and community to acquiesce to and normalize.
This is no different than a boy thinking he’s a football player and a girl thinking she’s a princess. You just don’t indulge it, accept it and encourage it.
Every step of the way here all I hear are adults giving into the whims of a 3-7 year old. What parent in their right mind lets a 3-7 year old dictate how they will be treated and how the family and community must deal with them?
This is pure insanity.

I wonder how many of these "transgender" 5-year-olds grow out of it in a decade or two. Many must be resentful their parents encouraged this nonsense for media attention too.

It wasn’t always clear to them how best to support their new pet. While on a family trip to California, Rachel took Lady — then still called by her human name — to the pet store. It was there that things “came to a boil.”
“I said, ‘You can pick out anything from the store,’ “ Rachel recalled. Lady pointed at a studded collar and leash. “This is what I want.”
