This is hilarious. I had to make sure I archived this page so they don't stealth edit out the stupidity.

This article is unbelievable and I'm surprised that they left it up. It was written only four short years ago, now people are starving and dying in Venezuela and it only took four years.

He had to have a big enough following to become el Presidente. If they have the guns to keep it that way the people still get the government they deserve. Let the OAS deal with it. They won’t.

He took a thriving economy and destroyed it in a few short years. It was a miracle!

The Venezuelan leader was often marginalized as a radical. But his brand of socialism achieved real economic gains
Yeah, just look how well Venezuela - a nation sitting on a fortune in oil reserves - is doing now after years of Chavez's brand of socialism. Have the starving beneficiaries of Chavez's brand of socialism in Venezuela butchered every last zoo animal for food yet?

"He, for instance, amassed a troubling record when it came to protecting human rights and basic democratic freedoms" Hugo ... "troubling record".... ... ... Trump ... "fascist, threat to humanity"
OK.

What's more hilarious is Bernie Sanders' quote:

2013 wasn’t that long ago. It was an asinine article then - Venezeula’s destruction was obvious at that time.

Vermont is a Banana Republic for electing the commie time after time.
Though they somehow maintain some of the least restrictive 2A laws.
They must grow good weed...

He’s right about the banana republic. When the legislature takes over 14% of the economy by passing a bill none of the read, you just might be a banana republic.
When you elect a guy president who received a Nobel prize purely on spec, you’re probably a banana republic.

Better dead than red; as in commie red. This has been a saying my entire life. The cold war (1949-1991) was always a part of life well into adulthood. Even though the cold war ended and communism ended as we knew it in Russia; it still existed in America and in fact flourished.
That saying “Better Dead Than Red” is still true today because nothing would destroy America and our freedoms faster than a transition to socialism/communism/marxism. Well, I guess nuclear bombs would do it faster, but short of a multi-country takeover and invasion hitting our shores with our 300 million strong weapons pointed at them on top of our military; communism is our biggest threat.

We have solid evidence from Japan that nuclear bombs are much less destructive than communism.

The important thing to remember is that the liberals are MUCH smarter than the rest of us. They tell us this all the time. See? Venezuela is a paradise. All is fine. Obama is smart and good. Hillary is wise and honest.
