No, the Constitution and the Rule of Law does.
The US drastically moved towards being a lawless 3rd World banana republic under Obama. Anything that Trump does moving in that direction will drastically reduce his chances in 2020.

No, dumbass, the NRA doesn’t run the country.
The NRA has about 4.5 million members or about .014 percent of the US population, whereas approximately 55 million US citizens choose to exercise their rights under the US Constitution. Some of us actually believe in the sanctity of the rights guaranteed by the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, not just the ones we choose to exercise.
If Trump goes for gun control, he’ll find out why so many Democrats don’t - at least openly.
