WH On Moore Report: ‘That Hypothetical Would Be Disqualifying For Anyone’ (Kellyanne Conway)
TPM ^ | November 9, 2017 | Matt Shuham

Posted on 11/09/2017 3:18:53 PM PST by Colonel Kangaroo

White House aide Kellyanne Conway said Thursday that allegations against Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore made in the Washington Post “would be disqualifying for anyone in public office.”

“We need to listen to both sides, but at the same time, that hypothetical would be disqualifying for anyone in public office,” Conway said, in a clip aired on MSNBC.

The Post reported the stories of four women who said Moore pursued relationships with them as a grown man when they were teenagers. In one case, a 32-year-old Moore took then-14-year-old Leigh Corfman to his house, undressing her before initiating sexual contact.

“She remembers that Moore kissed her, that he took off her pants and shirt, and that he touched her through her bra and underpants. She says that he guided her hand to his underwear and that she yanked her hand back,” the Post reported.

The White House’s director of legislative affairs, Marc Short, said on CNN later Thursday that “there’s no path forward” for Moore if the Post’s reporting is accurate.

“That’s a big ‘If’ clause, Wolf, it certainly is, but yes,” he told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

But, pressed on how Alabama voters should determine the veracity of the allegations — which the Post reported after interviews with more than 30 sources — Short had few specific ideas.

“I think that the voters of Alabama deserve to know the truth and I think the voters of Alabama will demand more information, more facts to figure this out,” he said.

Some GOP leaders have called on Moore to drop out of the race to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ former Senate seat — still, other Alabama officials have dismissed the Post’s reporting and defended Moore.

Why, after all this time, do these “women” wait to bring this up now?? This report is trash ....

Because the establishment has plenty of money to pay to any woman who will say this. 50k per woman is less then a quarter million..chump change to the establishment

Moore says it never happened. The proof is on the accuser, right?

But let’s just say the woman is telling 100% truth. What does Alabama law say: “13A-6-67 : (a) A person commits the crime of sexual abuse in the second degree if: ...
(2) He, being 19 years old or older, subjects another person to sexual intercourse...

So we ask, is mutual kissing and petting that is stopped on request ‘sexual intercourse’ ?

Are there any other material facts?

The 14yo represented herself as 16, the age of consent, on at least three occasions. According to her own account she didn’t disclose her real age until their 2nd and final ‘date’ so we can discern that she wasn’t truthful on the first encounter. In Alabama, pedophilia doesn’t kick in unless the minor is under 12. She had six years before the statute of limitations ran out. It’s been 40. If Moore didn’t see her again after she disclosed her real age, to what degree can we call him guilty?

I'm saying I don't know whether she's telling the truth or not.

Moore says it never happened.

And that's exactly what matters to me. I'm not interested in sophistry or hiding behind legalisms to pretend that a middle-aged man engaging in sexual behavior with a 14 year old who he thought was a 16 year old is acceptable. Either he didn't do it, in which case he is an innocent man being smeared in a vile political conspiracy and his accusers must be exposed, or he did do it, in which case he is not someone I can defend or support in any way.

To enable Obama to win his US Senate seat, Soros opened up the divorce records of Obama’s opponent Ryan, even though they were SEALED.

This Judge Moore, Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain procedure is standard Soros.

The “accuser” is quiet for thirty years, but suddenly appears in each case just before the election or hearing.

It’s almost like a serial killer’s signature. Unsealed personal records have been released to the press.

Obama’s signature move: unsealing private records

Ann Coulter | Wednesday Aug 1, 2012
http://humanevents.com/2012/08/01/ann-coulter-obamas-signature-move-unsealing-private-records/

Ryan would have walloped Obama in the Senate race. But at the request of — again — the Chicago Tribune, California Judge Robert Schnider unsealed the custody papers in Ryan’s divorce five years earlier from Hollywood starlet Jeri Lynn Ryan, the bombshell Borg on “Star Trek: Voyager.”

Jack Ryan had released his tax records. He had released his divorce records. But both he and his ex-wife sought to keep the custody records under seal to protect their son.

Amid the 400 pages of filings from the custody case, Jack Ryan claimed that his wife had had an affair, and she counterclaimed with the allegation that he had taken her to “sex clubs” in Paris, New York and New Orleans, which drove her to fall in love with another man.

(Republicans: If you plan a career in public office, please avoid marrying a wacko.)

Ryan had vehemently denied her allegations at the time, but it didn’t matter. The sex club allegations aired on “Entertainment Tonight,” “NBC Nightly News,” ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” and NBC’s “Today” show. CNN covered the story like it was the first moon landing.

(Interestingly, international papers also were ablaze with the story — the same newspapers that were supposed to be so bored with American sexual mores during Bill Clinton’s sex scandal.)

Four days after Judge Schnider unsealed the custody records, Ryan dropped out of the race for the horror of (allegedly) propositioning his own wife and then taking “no” for an answer.

Alan Keyes stepped in as a last-minute Republican candidate.

And that’s how Obama became a U.S. senator. He destroyed both his Democratic primary opponent and his Republican general election opponent with salacious allegations about their personal lives taken from “sealed” court records.

Obama’s team delved into Sarah Palin’s marriage and spread rumors of John McCain’s alleged affair in 2008 and they smeared Herman Cain in 2011 with hazy sexual harassment allegations all emanating from David Axelrod’s pals in Chicago.

It’s almost like a serial killer’s signature. Unsealed personal records have been released to the press. Obama must be running for office!

The White House’s director of legislative affairs, Marc Short, said on CNN later Thursday that “there’s no path forward” for Moore if the Post’s reporting is accurate.

The problem is how do you prove it's accurate or how do you prove it's inaccurate?

As a Jewess on the US, I can only point out that the number of women who allegedly DATED, but had no sex with, Roy Moore is EXACTLY the same number who accused President Clinton of FORCIBLE RAPE, a FAR more serious offense. Now we know why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST. Just sayin’!

See, there you go again, you are jumping to conclusions with absolutely nothing to back it up.

I jumped to no conclusions. I said, and I still say, that if Moore engaged in sexual contact with a 14 year old when he was 32, he should withdraw from the race. That's the sentence that sent you into a tizzy.

Sean Hannity said the same thing tonight, at the beginning of his interview with Moore, as did Trump yesterday - I assume you're mad at both of them as well. Hannity also went on to say that a 32 year old man pursuing a 14 year old girl would be despicable - and of course it would be despicable, though it's been amazing and depressing watching some on FR try to justify it and say that it's no big deal. There is no justification except for Moore to be innocent of any sexual contact with this girl.

Supporting taxpayer funded penis mutilation surgery is disqualifying.

Supporting BLM terrorists is disqualifying.
