I think it was Reagan that said, getting 85 percent of the loaf is better than getting none. If Trump gets 85% of the loaf he will have succeeded.
Meanwhile, McLamo comes through. Biggest losers of the night in my opinion Joe Manchin and Heidi Heitkamp. That is two more Reoublican seats in 2018. Now some conservatives need to get out there and start campaigning.

This “tax reform” legislation is almost as pathetic as the “Obamacare repeal” legislation that failed earlier this year. You remember that don’t you? The “repeal” that had to come before “tax reform” could even be considered. They were lying then, and lying now. This is deductible reform. Not tax reform.
Nobody ran on this crap sandwich. They ran, and we voted for, full Obamacare repeal and across the board tax rate cuts.
Are any of the provisions up in a comparison chart to be looked at, anywhere?? I don’t need the commentary or spin, just the facts.
I think it was Flake. Personally, I don’t think the Dreamers themselves are that much of a problem as long as they agree to become like the rest of us and jump through some hoops like be able to speak English, pay income taxes and so on. They have been living as Americans so long BUT they should not be able to bring relatives in through chain migration.
I’m sure Trump can use them as leverage to either build the wall, end chain migration or some other useful security measure. Obama has dumped this problem on America’s lap but I think Trump could make lemonade out of lemons.

All this hoopla about tax reform is a load of bs. They didn’t cut Fedzilla’s pay by one red cent. Until they do, someone will be feeding that gluttonous beast.
