“The women’s march was never about women’s rights. “
Nothing the Left does is about what the Left says it is. It’s similar to how Congress names bills. The Affordable Care Act, which was neither affordable or caring. Then there’s “Woman’s Health” which isn’t about women or health.
IF they really really cared, come 1/20/2018 they would show up in Tehran and let their voices be heard. No, really. ;-)
Only when their Dear Leader Obamamao figures out what’s in it for him.
Pass the popcorn—this is getting good.
American feminists - apparently a broad majority of them - have managed some true political gymnastics in declaring the hijab “empowerment”, a position so entirely contrary to every expression of human freedom that one wonders if they’re not all on drugs. Don’t expect any such concession to reason in Las Vegas.
If they’re so concerned, why not march over there and support them by joining them? Put up or shut up ladies.
The leader, Linda Sarsour, is a Muslim who loves Sharia law.
The so-called Women’s March was a cultish Progressive ideological event similar to the Jim Jones “event.” Any celebration of it will indicate that cult members are still under the same “spell.”
One of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" is "The issue is never the issue". The point being that the only real issue is always worldwide communism and everything else is a deception to that end.
The women’s march is a bunch of America-hating leftists, looking for sympathy for their self-pitying cause. They have no intention of helping the iranians overthrow their oppressive regime. They hate Trump, and would never do anything that looks like supporting Trump.
Ya want patriarchy, gals? in iran you have patriarchy.
The leaders of these “Womens Rights” campaigns suck in the rubes who are foolish enough to believe the issue is really women’s rights
when it is really just a front to push the liberal, leftist, socialist, globalist agenda.
They make an American pat on the derrière an international issue ignoring the millions of real women who are treated as chattel, beaten,
abused, stoned and killed in in the name of Islam in muslim countries and ghettos every day.
Linda Sarsour was a leader of the March, that’s all you need to know.
Weird how all the feminists here aren’t marching “in solidarity” or something. Huh.
Iranian female protesters defiantly pulling off their hijabs is very unfeminist behavior. Vogue and Vanity Fair both say that the hijab is a cool new way to express female empowerment. These Iranian protesters must be White Supremists or Zionists.
If it was me, I would tweet something along these lines:
The truly strong women of Iran risk their lives daily to protest women's rights. So far I see no support of them by the local Women's March "leaders". SAD.
Any bets on what he will do?
