Global warming continues to be as magical as ever. It seems that it can do everything, almost like they are making it up as they go along..... About the only thing these cultist haven’t claimed global warming can do is grow hair back on my head.

Have they thought about this?

Plenty of new land to plant Sugar Maples; even beyond the current Northern tree line. Sure better land use than rocks and lichens!

Much of new England was under ice 10,000 years ago and nobody was getting any maple syrup.

“The end of the last ice age was a time of extreme and rapid climatic change. Global warming accelerated 10,000 years ago, triggering rapid changes in plant and animal life. The changeover from spruce to pine forest in our region was possibly witnessed by Paleo-Indian hunters in a single lifetime. As pines thickly colonized the region, tundra disappeared – and with it the mammals that grazed on it (OMG! The caribou!). In our region, mastodon bones have been unearthed in peat deposits of the Harlem River and 22 feet below ground at Broadway and Dyckman Street in upper Manhattan; mastodon and mammoth teeth have been trawled by fishermen from undersea banks off the Atlantic coast, indicating these creatures roamed an outwash plain of mixed tundra (favored by mammoths) and black spruce swamps (browsed by mastodons).”

a new, decades-long study found

I'm confused. Is it new or decades long? If it's decades long, that is one hell of a grant.

Maple syrup and Monarch butterflies.

They don’t miss an opportunity.

If they could unite Climate Change, the Race card, and the Sexist card, they would have a trifecta.

Every time there is another authority figure/scientist who denies climate change or shows previous data has been tampered with, the hoaxers seem to double down and increase their claims — the more outrageous, the better.

No problem. When Global Warming takes hold, Vermonters can grow sugar cane in place of sugar maples.

You aren’t the only one to do that. A how-to book I read stressed the importance of boiling sap outside, with a story about a friend whose wallpaper all came off while making syrup at the stove.

I am not one who swears much, but removing wallpaper gets me to that point. Can’t imagine the amount of moisture for it to effortlessly come down on its own!

As global temperatures rise, the lack of enough water could stunt their growth, a new, decades-long study found.

...

Wouldn’t warmer temperatures cause more evaporation from the oceans leading to more rain? How else are we going to have those huge hurricanes they’ve been warning us about?

Well yes... humanity will tend to migrate its activities northward if climates do get consistently warmer (and not just on paper).

Plenty of high fructose corn syrup available to replace it if need be.

Cane syrup as well. That's my choice.

Moony, that’s something I never understand. Gore’s panic-pic had snow melting and New York being flooded. How does this happen while leaving the northern USA and southern Canada dryer?

Fake science.

There is zero direct correlation between a warmer/hotter climate and drought conditions.

Where are the two largest rain forest areas on Earth? In Brazil and Indonesia and not far from the equator.

In addition, plants and animals have more adaptability than “climate scientists” give them credit for.

Further: What will it take for the seeds of Maple trees to keep finding hospitable climate further north, where it is likely to be more “warmer” than it is “too cool” now? (1) In any natural sense, just time. (2) But with human management it will only take humans moving their Maple tree operations to where it is cooler as opposed to hotter. The stupid fake scientists cannot see the forest of possibilities, both natural and human engineered, because of the giant political tree sticking in their eyes.

The projected warmings are so slow that nature itself would walk northward if it had to.
