WASHINGTON — Rep. Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts will deliver the Democratic response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address next week.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer made the announcement in a statement Thursday night. They say Kennedy is “a relentless fighter for working Americans.” The 37-year-old Kennedy is serving his third term in the House.

The only thing that this says to me is that the old, crusty, Socialist/Communist corruptocrats running the Dem Party have finally understood that people don’t like them...so they’re searching for a new face to do the trick.

This should be about as effective as casting Reba McIntyre as Col. Sanders will be for KFC. What I’m going to LOVE is when 80% of the Millenials are polled and don’t know who President Kennedy was, or that he wouldn’t have any place in today’s Democrat Party.

Do they really think anybody remembers the Kennedy “mystique”?

Talk about living in the past.

SOS..... (Same ol’ Stool)

Since Europe is stagnating towards oblivion, the democrats have no new thoughts to copy. American socialists never have an original thought. American socialists depend on Europe for guidance forward.

In Europe there is nor forward. It follows in American Democrats, there is also no forward

Nearly 60 here, and the only Kennedy I remember much about was Fat Teddy. I know he had older brothers, and I vaguely remember no cartoons one Saturday while they buried one...but a pasty-white rich guy from Mass is supposed to identify with working Americans?

Has Joe Kennedy III ever made his own bed? Does he know how to drive? Does ANYONE believe he knows what it is like to have a bill you can't pay, a police ticket you can't avoid, or a sick kid you need to care for?

This is a guy who boasted in a press release he had done work "as an Anti-Poverty Consultant for the Office of the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste"! What the HELL is "the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste"? South Boston?

Looked it up, BTW:

“Supports working Americans”?????

There hasn’t been a Kennedy for 5 generations that has WORKED.

I know people on ranches that are over 70 & still can outwork any Kennedy you can put them up against.

Remind yourself of that when you listen to any one of them.

Kennedy is “a relentless fighter for working Americans.”

Yea — right — no Kennedy has ever put in an honest day’s work in their lives.

So, did this “relentless fighter for working Americans” vote in favor of the recent tax cut bill?

I don’t see any indication that he voted at all, although every Democrat in the House who voted, voted against it.

Was Kennedy one of two Democrats who did not vote on that bill?

A real ‘profile in courage’, that one...
