Complete misreading

Page is comparing the obama sanctions regime and policies of isolating Russia as a form of disenfranchising Russia from the world economy - ironically by a black US president with a legacy of slavery disenfranchisement

Page is opposed to sanctions and believes the US has failed to recognize Russia's legitimate self interests or to make room for them in US policy - that's what put a target on his back

Something a Putin hater may disagree with but not unAmerican to disagree academically with Us foreign policy, even vs Russia

Or at least it wasn't until it became expedient for the democrat shadow coup, plotters to criminalize such views.... I am thinking this whole " Page is an obama plant" story was crafted to cast doubts about Page as a Mueller witch hunt victim aming people who ought to be appalled at how deep state used and is using him to get to Trump

“I just don’t have a good feeling about him. I hope I’m wrong.”

Trust your instincts! I am left wondering who “did Trump the favor,” and hired this guy in the first place? He is at the apex of this whole Trump/Russia business, and he’s and Obamaite!

Go try to find any whiff of conservatism for Page. I can’t find ANY. Lots of good LEFTIST credentials out there though.

(Comrade Juan McNuts contribution mitigating for my argument....)

The Judge was not duped. The Judge was at least a willing soldier. More likely part of the plan. Notice he has not withdrawn the approval. If he does he is admitting he was deceived and shuts down the Rat/MSM blow back. They included a CYA footnote that alluded to a possible political element to the justification just in case we got to this point. My guess they knew how to keep it just inside the legal line. The fact that the Sessions is AG is just fantastic luck for them as it turns out.

Fair enough. I’m at Denny’s on my phone, so complete readings are difficult.....

So.... did Page know he was being planted? Was he a willing participant?

Nobody thought Trump had a chance when Page joined.

Just sayin.

“My guess is that Carter Page would have a very interesting story to tell....except that he is not ready to commit suicide...or to be shot during a “robbery”.

Preposterous tin hat theory?”

No! Not in today’s political world here! But the worst part of it is how it is diluting Trump’s stellar efforts to turn the country around. Imagine where he’d be today, absent all this Russia $hit! And it is agonizing to watch our “government drones” grind out the judicial yardage here, with no thought about how all of it affects the people.

Someone should ask Page just how stupid he was .....

Fun!

I am not completely convinced of the theory I am suggesting here. However, I think it holds more water than the current story about Page.

"Carter W. Page worked for ultra liberal NY Senator Patrick Moynihan"

Some may debate that, aka he was a liberal Republican that ran as a "D", and given what he said on the Late Tim Russert's on MTP (yes Russert worked for D.P.M. at one point), that "We don't have a health care crisis we have a welfare crisis" it might bolster that mindset....

However, who took the "Moynihan Seat"? Of course Hilda !!! Hmmmm, why did she pick the NY seat to add to her resume to eventually run for POTUS ? What did they have on D.P.M. or was it a giveme given NY is so left? Ya think Mr Page crossed paths w/ her given this link? Well, we could play the Kevin Bacon game here....

With the recent FISA data released and Page’s personal history of support of the rats.

Page was possibly a volunteer to enable the surveillance of Candidate Trump and his people in the critical final days before the Nov 2016 election.

He needs to turn himself over to Federal Marshall’s to avoid a self inflicted Arkancide!

My Chromebook/Google and other search sites agree with what you posted above.

"They were both heavily involved in the Energy business in Eastern Europe and Russia and I am sure had many contacts together."

Uranium is Energy, is their intersecting circles between "these two" and the Clinton's , their Foundation, and the whole U1 mess?

Has anyone asked that question?

“I am left wondering who “did Trump the favor,” and hired this guy in the first place?”

One of the things Trump bragged about during the campaign was the number of capable people he knew and would bring into the administration. Yet we’ve seen a revolving door in the campaign and administration of corrupt, incapable, and inept people. Minimally Trump’s vetting process is flawed. Yes there has been some Democrat obstruction to approving appointees in the Senate but the truth is after year in office many positions are filled with Obama appointees because Trump has not yet nominated replacements.

Effective leaders of large organizations must have capable and trustworthy people in key management roles. After a year in office he is accountable for his team, whether they are his appointees or the people he has left in place from the Obama administration. So far, he has yet to show great leadership in the quality of his appointments. If he is incapable of identifying, hiring, and overseeing capable executives he will fail.

So, it went like this (probably) - Carter, we need someone on the inside of the Trump campaign. Now you might have to take some flak but we assure you that you will be well-compensated.

I didn’t say he was a conservative, but I do know, first-hand, how the Bureau operates...

That’s my concern in a nutshell.

Yup, Carter Page went from being a PAID FBI INFORMANT to an unpaid Trump campaign volunteer within six months....”How Did Carter Page Go From FBI Undercover Employee (UCE) to FISA Title I Foreign Agent Spy?”

(clearly, the FBI put him there)

It is frustrating having no arrests yet.

That said, dripping facts for the other 50% of the population is necessary so they can’t question it.

By that time the defense swill be, it is old news.
