So a baker must provide service for a pervert wedding cake because shut up, but banks can deny service for firearm transactions because shut up?

Got it.

Cash, Check or money order. A debit card may work. Stupid laws are for made by stupid people, and are obeyed by stupid sheeple.

What if the finance industry — credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express; credit card processors like First Data; and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo — were to effectively set new rules for the sales of guns in America? …
It won’t stop criminals and terrorists any more than PayPal does. And as for Nikolas Cruz, the FBI admitted they dropped the ball. But that will not stop the left from thinking up new ways to attack the Second Amendment, of course.

Someone like Mr. Sorkin, who interned at the NY Slimes, really has no hope from an ideological standpoint. Permanent apparatchik.

LOL! Another lib that doesn’t understand the consumer base when it comes to guns.

I doubt the sales would be affected much. In fact, the prices might come down. When people deal in cash, paper trails go away too. I do not think I have ever purchased a weapon on credit. Ammo? Yes (Walmart while grocery shopping).

I’m all for the sale of guns by cash only. This would make 3rd party sales a lot cleaner and easier too. AND... the reporting of gun sales might go down, thus giving the libs the illusion that they got what they wanted.

The idiot does not know that cash exists. But, even a blind pig finds a truffle now and then and buried at the end is the truly frightening idea: that insurance companies could put gun sellers out of business by refusing to sell them business insurance.

There’s a real dumb idea. People that have charges also have access to cash. Cards are a convenience in most cases.

LOL. 300 million guns and 2 trillion rounds already in American hands. Good luck, Dorkin.

Yeah, sure. Let them try that with gay wedding cakes and see what happens.

Banks could show solidarity by being gun free zones just like schools. No more armed guards allowed just to be fair.

>>What if we gave everyone a Mark? That way they could neither buy nor sell any “bad stuff” without bowing down before the Beast of Progressivism?

I made a comment a couple weeks ago about the idea that the Mark of the Beast may just be Progressive Virtue Signaling, where you willingly “mark” yourself to be acceptable to do commerce.

Even worse, Sorkin interned at the Slimes while a senior in high school. This guy really has no chance in waking up, does he?

Oh, and by the way...

Does this liberal think the “Finance” and “Banking Industry” is going to simply walk away from the profits gained from a multi-billion dollar industry in the US?

Their problem with Marijuana sales is of a legal nature. It’s illegal in the USA but legal in some states. They error on the side of liability safety.

They don’t want legitimate people to have guns. They want violent criminals to have them.

Liberals never cease to amuse me. They have no idea that there are so many ways to obtain a firearm without whipping-out a credit card (means both legal and illegal). Now, with 3-D printing, it is becoming more difficult to control firearms.

Personally, I have two weapons that are "registered" or "linkable" to me that I've purchased through local gun stores.

Any other weapons I have were purchased LEGALLY via estate sales and through friends.

If/when Liberals gain power and decide they're going to seize my weapons, they'll get TWO. That's all they'll get. And they'll think they've disarmed me in the process.

Let them think that. Once they think they've disarmed us, that's when the civil war breaks out. Right when they let their guard down and they're the most vulnerable.

"How Banks Could Control Gun Sales if Washington Won’t"

A great reason why we should NEVER move to a cashless society.

Dorkin is worth $10 million and lives in NYC. He probably uses plastic for everything.

Out of touch with the rest of the country relating to the use of cash, and out of touch with the rest of the country in nearly everything else.

I see the First Amendment and the Second Amendment as closely tied.

If any journalist wants to discuss infringing my Second Amendment rights, I immediately want to discuss infringing his or her First Amendment right to peddle unconstitutional trash.

PayPal, Square, Stripe and Apple Pay announced years ago that they would not allow their services to be used for the sale of firearms.

I just renewed my NRA membership with PayPal.
