Banks and finance companies can save over 40,000 lives per year by not allowing their networks to be used for car purchases, loans or rentals. They have a moral obligation to help stop the bloodbath of automotive deaths.
Hmmm, I wonder if they will advocate for banks/credit card companies refusing to process purchases of alcohol as well. Far more people are killed as a result of drunk drivers than are killed with fire arms. Somehow, I doubt that will happen....
Seems like the following might well apply to this little scheme...
18 U.S. Code § 241
This is actually what they do/did to pot shops. Forced them to have large amounts of cash and refused to service their accounts. So, it’s not without precedent except marijuana wasn’t recognized by the Federal Govt. as a legitimate business.
Didn’t Obozo try to do that and wasn’t the scheme slapped down?
What about the rest of Satan’s forces on Earth? The people who wear an ISIS tattoo are easily defeated by secular powers. I believe that Satan’s real warriors are the Humanists, people who can stare right at General Revelation and say God does not exist, or that he is too weak to affect humankind, or that he is some kind of Progressive Humanist like them. They cannot be defeated by secular means and they are the ones who are rooting out the Christians and attempting to banish them from society.
And down the slippery slope to unchecked authoritarianism we go...
Andrew andrew. Andrew....what about knives? Rocks? Scissors? Idiot on parade.
I wonder how long these would stand up in court if they weren’t letting their services be used to pay for porn?
Out of at least a dozen firearms purchases I’ve made, none of them were by credit card. Ammunition purchased online? Yes. But the guns? All paid for by cashier’s check, money order or similar.
Banks are flammable.

They have demonstrated no desire to do so.

Yea I guess this idiot never heard of an ATM.
IMHO, anything that might limit the use of credit cards is a wonderful idea. Credit cards are not good for your health.
I admit: I have used a debit, NOT credit, card to buy firearms. If the banks want to get snarky about it, fine. There’s always money orders, checks and, if necessary, cash.
It’s a shame Mr. Sorkin doesn’t live in the real world.
In almost all cases, one cannot use a credit card to buy illegal drugs. Has that stopped the drug trade?
>>They have demonstrated no desire to do so.
Umm...because Progressive Humanists infect our government.
Obama tried this. The Dems lost the election.
Banks have federal charters and could be sued for discrimination against a legal business sector and maybe as a federal chartered entity for violation of the 2nd amendment.
Because you always know exactly what is being purchased using Paypal or a Credit Card.
