Donald Trump Unleashes Base on Jeff Sessions with Tweet
Yahoo News ^ | 2/21/18 | Lisa de Moraes

President Donald Trump’s fury about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ Russia-probe recusal has broken out again like a bad rash.

This morning, Trump tweeted a “question” in which he wondered: “If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t the Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!”

It’s the President of the United States’ latest comment in response to Friday’s indictment of 13 Russians for meddling in the 2016 election ,in which POTUS failed to address the meddling and his plans to thwart the interference going forward. Trump has been blasted since Friday for his non-response, and this morning’s tweet will do nothing to make that stop.

I am very disappointed in Jeff Sessions . I hope President Trump is well considering whom to choose to replace him . Enough already . He needs an AG that will perform his role , Not AWOL .

Maybe Jeff is involved from the Obama side. He’s been in the swamp a long time.

Sessions ranks among the biggest political disappointments I’ve witnessed in my lifetime. If he had an ounce of integrity he’d resign and not put DJT and the nation through this mess.

“If [Ssessions] had an ounce of integrity he’d resign and not put DJT and the nation through this mess.

He would have resigned from his position at the very beginning.

He keeps reminding everyone that he dotted one little”i” to comply with one little freaking rule and allowed Trump’s enemies to blow through like a freight train and splatter every damn rule in the book. He is an idiot or a Hillary plant.

President Trump is Spot On.

What a complete waste this so-called ‘investigation’ has been.

It is not only embarrassing to watch these government actors waste so much valuable time and energy, it is now actionable.

Mueller needs to be called on the carpet. Sessions needs to step down to be replaced by a more energetic and aggressive person. Therein lies the rub, with the awful McConnell as Senate Majority Leader, it is likely no real competent people will be confirmed for the President.

There was a small window of opportunity at the beginning for Sessions to refuse the appointment based on all this Russia crap. But now it is likely that McConnell won’t act to have the Senate confirm a new appointee.

Trump is stuck with Sessions and would be stuck with Rosenstein if Sessions resigns.

Talk about a total suck situation!

Probably my last remark to you ever, you simpleton who cares not about proseuctorial conflict. Lets have Lynch and McCabe look into Crooked Hillary, and you don't have a leg to stand on in complaint. No, you are not one to be taken seriously.

But cutting in your favor, Sessions doesn't "keep reminding," he didn't even bring up his recusal unless asked about it.

I think Trump could select a new nominee for AG who would serve until the end of the congressional session or until confirmed by the senate. That, however, is not a great solution either. An ‘unconfirmed’ AG would be viewed as a Trump-creature by the Media and would be portrayed as such. He/She might be plagued by threatened resignations by deputies every step of the way.

Why is Sessions still recused from his job? His basis for recusal has been determined to have never existed. Is he crazy or just lazy?

As a casual observer of both the President of the United States and an imaginative playmate with a nickname of Q, one could easily experience cognitive dissonance.

What is true, mis-direction, propoganda? What is psyop?

Certainly "Q" is a major psyop operation with the full approval of MI. Not all psyops are bad, nor negative. But all psyops serve a purpose. Q has declared his purpose. It is admirable and worthy.

So either the President is sending a signal to light a fire under Sessions ass or we are observing a classic mis-direction signal.

But think about it for a moment . . . If the President of the United States were to call his Attorney General into the oval office and gave him directions to investigate this or that . . . all hell would break loose. Headlines I read in 1972. The Presidents Enemy List, and how a President went after his enemies. President Trump, a diligent student of JFK, Nixon and Reagan undertsands the consequences all too well.

Yeah, I know, exactly what Obama did, but in my lifetime, Democrats do not have to follow the rule of law and the media provides cover. That alone should have us in the streets demanding justice, but our side does not protest much. Busy working our ass off to pay the bills, ya think.

However . . . what would happen if the public outcry was so strong that Congress and the Attourney General had to react????

Am thinking thats part of Q's mission. We do have to stand up and do our part to save the Republic.

Cue warning from the RINOs not to fire Jeff Sessions. Democrats respond with “Trump knows the Russia, Russia, Russia investigation is closing in.

I said from the outset that someone like Pruitt, a State AG who has never shrunken from doing battle with the federal government, should have been his AG. DJT made the choice and now he has to live with it.

Any selectee would have to be recess-appointed and McConnell and Senate are not allowing any recess appointees since Obama tried to get Garland recess appointed to fill Scalia’s seat.

McConnell allowed Gorsuch and allows other judges to be confirmed using Reid’s ‘nuclear’ precedent in which Reid disallowed a call of 60 votes for cloture opting for a simple majority vote. This buried the filibuster for judicial nominee confirmations.

McConnell could go nuclear on administration appointees but that would be precedent-setting and McConnell is the typical DC bureaucrat not to make waves.

It’s a total suck situation.

No doubt about it, Mr Sessions is part of the problem and not the solution.

To put someone in the top law enforcement slot that sits on the plug with 99 others in the Senate was just down right stupid on our Presidents part. Sessions must have really wooed him during the campaigning that went on to pull the rug over his eyes but shifft like that will happen.

We need a new AG NOW from outside the swamp,

Not necessarily. Actually, if Sessions resigns, Trump doesn't need approval by the Senate to appoint someone to fill the position. Under the Vacancies Reform Act, 5 U.S.C. §§ 3345-3349d , he can appoint anyone he wants as acting Attorney General. He does not have to wait for a recess appointment and Rosenstein won't become acting Attorney General. This person will have all the powers of the Attorney General, just not the title.

I don’t see a part ‘d’ to 5 U.S.C. §§ 3345-3349.

America missed a nuclear bomb in Nov. 2016 and the future hangs by a thread. If a democrat gets in we can all bend over and kiss our asses goodbye. Meanwhile, we are in a virtual political D day or Battle of the Bulge with all the chips on the table. In this context the most profoundly incompetent generals are in command while simultaneously refusing to fight. This is not a good thing and Sessions must go.

He really sounds idiotic when he talks. Takes him 10 minutes to answer a one word answer question. Sorry, it just bugs me. I hope he’s behind the scenes guy and not the nowhere to be found guy.
