Black Panther, White Suckers
American Thinker.com ^ | February 22, 2018 | Colin Flaherty

The new Black Panther movie may have been sold as an anti-white screed dripping with racial hostility, but those who are looking for that kind of venom in this year's biggest biggest cinematic experience are going to disappointed.

Anyone who has ever met Prince Albert, The World's Smallest Perfectly Formed Colored Midget, can tell you why. I got to know Prince Albert during my days in the carnival when my ride, The Round Up, was often located next to the freak show.

In addition to the albino woman sword-swallower, Priscilla the gorilla woman, and her husband, the alligator-skinned man, Prince Albert took the stage and told people about his life and world travels – as he did to me when he came to visit Dottie, the woman who took tickets at my ride.

Paying or free, Prince Albert attracted a crowd that loved his tales of a girl in every port. From time to time, Prince Albert offered them the following wager: "I bet anyone $5 I can tell them the time, the place, and the location where they got their shoes."

Someone would always wave a $5 bill around, if for no other reason than to learn the trick. And if he were here today, Prince Albert would earn the $5 by saying, "It is Wednesday, 10 a.m., and you got your shoes on the end of your feet."

The moral of the story, Prince Albert reminded the marks, is never play another man's game.

After seeing Black Panther, there is no doubt that the marketing gurus who turned Black Panther into the most talked about movie of the decade were playing us like a nation of willing and ignorant marks.

No matter what the tone of the movie actually is, I spotted the game that the marketers were playing right up front. Who didn’t? They weren’t subtle.

Whatever the movie happens to be, they sold it as a black-empowerment, We’re-better-than-whitey kind of movie that all SJW just had to see.

No chance in hell I buy what they’re selling.

I like dumb, brainless action movies. I like to get lost in total fantasy. I like to hear speaceships in space and when laser pistols have recoil.

It’s just fun. That’s it. Nothing else.

I’ll watch this movie, but only if I don’t pay for it. I’m not into giving my enemies my hard-earned money. And since China owns all of already liberal / communist hollywood I like to steal stuff from them.

Sometimes I pay others to steal from them so $2 for a bootleg copy of a movie is just fine by me.

I’ll see this movie, like I see all of the others. I’m immune to the communist undertones and flat-out subliminal suggestion that is found in every scene. I know Wakanda is fantasy because it’s a black-only society that doesn’t eat each other.

The people who make the movie and the people who market the movie are two different groups.

How many movies have been sold to us under the "flag waving patriot" banner only to turn out to be the sickest anti-American pap?

How often has a "feel good family film" turned out to be about perverts?

I find this turn about kind of amusing.

Today’s fictional super heroes are either black or women...

Today’s actual heroes are the people of all races and gender who protect our country and our lives...

The author could have edited his tale of the colored midget out and gotten his message across far sooner. I almost lost interest in reading until he returned to talking about the movie.

Was going to wait for it on Video, because of a few reasons... 1 the obvious attempt by marketers to turn it into some cultural thing, which it wasn’t but more importantly, Black Panther is a 2nd tier comic book character. He’s not a major player in the Marvel Universe, and I really honestly just don’t care much about the character.

However, my son wanted to see it so I took him.

Here’s an honest review of the film.

Ignore the 96% rating by critics, that’s a flat out joke.. the critics clearly were ridden by white guilt and afraid to honestly review this movie for fear of being called racist. The audience score of 76 or so is far more accurate.

The move is a good movie for its genre but NOT a great one. It is too long, the plot gets muddled in points and the main antagonist is barely one dimensional. And yes, there are indeed a few cringeworthy moments in the film, but they were due to bad writing and directing, not bad acting.

The actors all did a fine job with their roles, even if their roles and characters had no depth.

Its a 2.5-3 star movie or 65-75 out of 100 in my review.

Good, could have been better, well acted, but a muddled script with some a very weak antagonist character depth (almost to the point of need to suspend any semblance of belief to buy into him, yes I know its a comic book based movie, but even for this genre this character was far too shallow for the motivations claimed to drive him to the behaviors he engages in), and some cringeworthy dialog thrown in for no real reason other than racial pandering. Thankfully these moments were few and far between, but they just couldn’t help but put them in there.

The real weak spot in this film was the script... it was not bad, but it was not great. There honestly was potential for a great movie, for its genre, but it walks away with a solid good.

The last time I looked in the mirror, my acne was gone. There are no Hustler magazines under my mattress or comic books in my library. I rarely say “ Dude” anymore when speaking to friends and I sure as hell have no plans to see this movie with a crowd of drooling snowflake zombies..

I saw the previews while watching “Hostiles”...(good movie!)

No way in hell I’ll watch that movie.. I don’t need further reminders of the hostility being breathed into our society at every turn by the other side..
