I doubt this will influence the students who’d planned to spend Spring Break in FL. A very small % if at all.

The NRA has—for the most part—cleaned up its act. If anything, however, they are too moderate.
Gun control laws in many cases have been based in racism, either in theory or practice. The NRA seems to have had its head on straight for several decades in that area, at least, and they're not likely to backslide.
The bottom line for the moment is that for the Left to demonize the NRA or its membership as anything resembling "extremist" is patently absurd, to say the least. There's legitimate criticism and illegitimate criticism, and what's coming from the extreme gun-banning Left is patently illegitimate, and the veritable epitome of authoritarian propaganda and raw hatred...
Definitely true about Switzerland. Less snowflakes but they still have them. And they are far more federal than we are. Their cantons are quite independent.

I saw a video of him being coached, and videoed, over and over again, trying to get his lines right and screwing them up, and the patient person behind the camera kept stopping and restarting patiently. I presume the is what they are talking about.
