Excellent...If today’s citizens had been there, those patriots at Concord bridge would be remembered for strewing rose petals in front of the British troops.

They didn’t concern themselves with PC or being rounded up by their British occupiers.

What an asinine statement. The Founders took great pains to avoid being rounded up by the British.

And as for where there counterparts of today are, they're tagged, easily tracked, and know perfectly well what people like the author of this tripe will do to, and won't do for, them once they get their "information" from popular media sources.

God save us from "patriots" of their own imagination.

Take a chill pill man. You can disagree without being such an assh**e ? We are, I assume, on the same team.

The conservative/libertarian opposition is meek, timid, disorganized and uncoordinated; they are always left holding the bag.

Yep, that's exactly why we've been getting our asses kicked in the last three election cycles.

Go back under the rock you crawled out from under and take your shamefulness with you.

Waiting for Q to give us the word.

That and it’s cold outside.

>>The conservative opposition is reactive at best, but invisible and limp most of the time.

We’re usually at work.

The personification of libertarian conservatism is the Tea Party. Did the Tea Party accomplish anything of note?

FU. What good have these so-called election victories done us? The two-year budget deal that increases federal spending by double digits? Obamacare not abolished? The insurance industry bailed out? The GOP has betrayed us far too long.

Thank you. I tire of these big talking patriots doing exactly what they accuse others of doing; being keyboard warriors who bitch about everybody else’s supposed cowardice.

If we marched a million people into Washington, the left and media would plant deliberate eggheads and interview them or simply ignore us entirely. We have to play the cards we are dealt, and the media won’t cover us, certainly not positively.

Apples and oranges.

This is not 1773 and there ARE more "fears" to fear .... it is what it is.

IMO ... the best we can hope for is for enough diagnosed terminal men just pick up and carry on patriotic.

It is ONLY those that have nothing to lose that CAN make a difference.

The bold and brave unfortunately stand alone.

Point taken. But as I said, I’m far too old to lead a revolution. It just saddens and angers me to see the Left always in our faces day after GD day.

We are too busy working at a real job every day, raising our families, staying out of jail, not sitting around complaining about Life. Remember most of those you hear from on the left, don’t have these responsibilities to deal with.

It takes far more than election victories or well-written editorials to win and maintain power

I respectfully disagree, in part.

Election victories are very important.

And "keeping your powder dry" can be as strong as editorials.

There is a strong undercurrent within the "working people" of this great country. I worked in the campaign as a local volunteer in 2016, in Michigan. Talked to a lot of merchants, skilled tradesmen and the like.

I live five miles from Central Michigan University. Heard more than a few comments that included the "N" word in the stores. No complaints about guns.

Just my observations.

The Sons of Liberty were the radicals in those days; the Loyalists were the ones “sitting on their thumbs” for the most part.

“...where are today’s Sons of Liberty? .... But I am far too old to organize the counter-revolution.”

There you have it. You have answered your own question.

I have confronted these friends of tyranny since 1964, in classes, on the streets, as a student, as a volunteer parade marshal, as a National Guardsman, as a Freeper, as a counter-demonstrator. I am too old now for street fighting. About all I can do is sit before a computer and type, arguing my views before the ignorant who can not think logically or critically or recognize a fact from wishful thinking. What more could I do?
