“Less than a year ago, Nauert wasn’t even in government. Nauert, who was born in Illinois, was a breaking news anchor on Trump’s favorite television show, “Fox & Friends,”...She hadn’t specialized in foreign policy or international relations.”

The real gist of the article is that she is just a TV talking head whom Trump hired and that she can’t be capable of doing the job she holds. In reality she’s just capable as anyone with “foreign policy of international relations” experience.

Go, Heather.

She was one of my FOX favorites.

I remember when, in 2001, right after Al Gore finally lost the election, she went “under cover.” Al Gore, whose huge ego was becoming self-evident, lectured on a course in some NYC university at some grad school course. Heather tied her hair in a pony tail, played grad-student, took notes, and reported. Gawd, was she cute! Even my wife agreed.

She seemed both intelligent and good-natured. I was surprised she didn’t rise further in the FOX hierarchy over the years, and I’m glad to see her career is flourishing.

Has she gotten a new job? Then she has risen anywhere. She has the same job she had last year. She doesn’t have anything to do with policy.

Trump has a lot of talent at recognizing and encouraging talent and then rewarding it.

And the more I learn about Tillerson, the more I think he was a headstrong dud.

I guess it is hard to go from being the BIG boss to being a team player.

I am positive there were no articles of shock written when Obama made that wilted Marxist pullet Samantha Power UN Secretary. RATs are always qualified, uh, because they say so.

“U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Nauert are among the few women in the Trump administration with high-profile voices on foreign policy.”

Sounds like spin. It just as easily could have stated “two women with prominent voices in a diverse administration.”

Remember her first appearance on FNC. About the time Glen Beck was stepping out with the Tea Party and John Gibson still had his show. She appeared along with John. It seems only a short time later, John was gone, fired. Likening John, felt a small amount of animosity toward her thinking she might have been the cause. Whatever....she’s done quite well for herself and darned good at what she does.

President Trump does not hide competent women under a bushel basket. The two on stage have both done an admirable job, Haley And Nauert are not the frosted flakes once thought.

An excerpt...I did not know she was promoted after T-Rex was fired.

The moment that Trump canned Tillerson by tweet, Nauert was in a Hamas-built tunnel on the border near the Gaza Strip, on a tour organized by the Israeli military to show U.S. officials the smuggling routes used by militants. Caught by surprise by the move back in Washington, Nauert and the rest of the delegation cut the tour short and returned to Jerusalem to deal with the crisis. Soon, Trump also fired the undersecretary of state who publicly defended Tillerson.

The president named Nauert to that suddenly vacant position, near the top of the hierarchy of American diplomacy.

Nauert told associates she was taken aback and recommended a colleague for the job. But when White House officials told her they wanted her, she accepted.

Yes. Yes. No.Yes.

You are a know nothing blowhard, that shoots off your mouth and never bothers to read the entire article.

The new role gives Nauert responsibilities far beyond the regular news conferences she held in the briefing room. She is overseeing the public diplomacy in Washington and all of the roughly 275 overseas U.S. embassies, consulates and other posts. She is in charge of the Global Engagement Center that fights extremist messaging from the Islamic State group and others. She can take a seat, if she wants, on the Broadcasting Board of Governors that steers government broadcast networks such as Voice of America.

Can/did you even read the article???

....Soon, Trump also fired the undersecretary of state who publicly defended Tillerson.

So, YES, she has the new job and YES she has risen to this new, higher (3rd in hierarchy - per article!!!) position. And, NO, she does NOT have the same job as last year.

It’s also been all over the news and news outlets (search is your friend).

Why do you post such derogatory posts against Trump/Trump admin? It’s as though you are a troll, gathering your post content from Think Progress/DU.

Heather will be attacked and dismissed by the Libtards.

She's white, attractive, married, and even worse - married to a person of the opposite sex.

She has no children out of wedlock, no half black children, no half-Cherokee children, and is raising her boys as boys.....
