Just because you can no longer access your information on FB doesn’t mean that they can’t.

Death to Faceplant! (It’s about time)
Why save my data? They’ve already saved it.
Doesn't matter, I lied on every question. Used it about three days.....years and years ago.
Ska-rew FB.
Great. Thanks.

From where are you downloading your Facebook content?
From the Facebook Cloud?
Who deletes your data from the Facebook Cloud?
Who owns the data resident on the Facebook Cloud?
Wake up folks!
Never did FB, never will.
I intitially observed it. I thought it could be a good medium for friends to exchange info on social events, etc.
Then I started seeing posts like “I’ve had to change my baby’s diapers four times today”, complete with photos.
I didn’t need that information, and I still try to figure out the motivation behind posting such things. I can see how a new mom would communicate such information to her mother, but why post it to the world?
Then I saw the politics start to come in, and we see what happened with that.
About 40% of Americans don’t use FB, I’m glad I’m in that group.
I admit I’m old-fashioned. I use the telephone, email and snail mail to connect socially.
FACEBOOK: Important to delete all information slowly, and independently of a final delete. Once all pics and other pertinent info you do not want anyone else to have...then delete the account!
‘I thought it could be a good medium for friends to exchange info on social events, etc.’
it is good for that; without it, I would never have known about my 50th reunion, which I greatly enjoyed...and the baby and pet videos never bothered me at all...
what has irked me is the takeover by politics, and the utter incivility it has generated...time to say good bye...
One of the weirdest and invasive things about Facebook is that any apps your friends use can also access your data!
Facebook says, “People on Facebook who can see your info can bring it with them when they use apps. This makes their experience better and more social.”

I’m thinking, no matter what you do, your info is there ‘somewhere’ forever.
Bank on it!
Snort, they never delete your account no matter how many times you click that button.
If I delete my FB then how will I red pill all my friends and family on how corrupt these people are which is the only thing I use it for.
Same here. I told them I was a Japanese cartoon character. I deleted the account after a few weeks when I decided it wasn't safe. This was several years ago. At that time, there was a scandal where the government of Iran was using Freakbook to track down relatives (still in Iran) of Iranian expatriates in the U.S. Freakbook was also leaking photos of Iranian women who had declared their photos private. This is apparently a big no-no in Islam.
I would like to know how one can deactivate their FB account immediately bypassing that stupid 14-day waiting period. Anyone ?
You never GET YOUR DATA BACK. they and the gov’t own it forever and you. To think otherwise is delusional.
i resisted my entty on Facebook for years, but recently added my children to get their posts. NOw I get five emails a day saying I have 98 people I hould add to my list.
