They had me down as "very conservative" which is right on the money and downright creepy because I don't post about politics on Facebook.

The categorization is part of the algorithm that “curates” your “feed” to make you keep coming back to hear mostly what you like, and to remain.
Advertisers don’t have unlimited budgets, so they wisely seek likely targets for their spending.

Very conservative, imagine that. Just because whenever they try to throw a Hillary ad at me (which they do try to do sometimes) I always mark “spam”. lol
Ain't that the truth. Just got "unfriended" by a liberal former co-worker. I 'unfollowed' him because I knew I would not be able to keep my mouth shut about the crap he posted, so we were still 'friends' I just didn't see his posts.
He, however, would not shut up posting crap when I posted anything political. He liked to put "Trump is a disgrase" and I wanted to tell him his spelling was a disgrace but no... I posted something on the 2nd amendment, he told me apparently I didn't have any loved ones who could be killed by guns and assorted other things, point being, I was nice, he was nasty and then he unfriended me. :0 Liberalism, it's a mental disease and I always liked the guy, fellow gardener but man, he can turn nasty if you don't agree with his political views.
Oh lord, I’m now wondering....do they have a category in “Behaviors” (that’s offensive in itself!) for WHITE Affinity?

have you ever googled anything, like right wing stuff? Because one time I googled “kayak”, next thing I know ads for kayaks were showing up on my facebook page. It creeped me out.

Here’s the funny thing: Facebook won’t let pitch your ad to whites like they do the other races/ethnicities.
If you want white people to see your ad, you have to figure out specific behaviors.
And they have reams of those.
I’ll try and get in the ad dashboard tonight or tomorrow. It’s amazing really.
I never fixed my address on the Alexa app, which means she has the default address (Carlsbad, CA).
Don’t I wish, especially during the cold New England winters...
