I have a facebook account under a psuedonym with only my direct family as friends. But I do follow other pages on FB (organizations, sports, etc.) Seeing as my “face” image is a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, I’m guessing I’m conservative.
They have me as conservative also-——I like wolf stuff and dog stuff———and “like” just about everything the grandkids post————when they do,FB is pretty much over for them.

The only think I’ve “Liked” is bird photographs, landscape photographs and some photography tips. I’ve commented on various photos and made recommendations for places where people might like to go for outdoor activities and bird watching.
I would think all of that is rather apolitical stuff. Maybe because bird watching is mostly a white person’s pastime, it seems.

Or maybe it is your friend’s lists or maybe the other websites you go to. If you’ll notice - there are usually ads on the right side of the page that contain products that you have searched for recently.

Of course, I’m “very conservative”, probably because long ago I marked myself as a Republican.
But, not only do they put me in “soccer fan” category (yikes! Yeech), but I have an “multicultural affinity for African-American”! LOLOL
