Tomorrow night, Scripps College will be hosting a pool party (click here for archived event) at the Sallie Tiernan Field House pool that only non-white people will be allowed to attend.
Organized by Scripps’s Latinx group “Cafe con Leche”, the event was announced via Facebook (click here for archived description) under the claim of being the “first ever POC [person of color] pool party in [Clare]mont”.
The three-hour use of Scripps’ Sallie Tiernan House Pool is aimed at the creation of “a safe space for 5C students that identify as POC to come together and build community,” and will be open to only students identifying as POC attending the Claremont Colleges, a consortium which also includes Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, Pitzer College, and Harvey Mudd College. The event is set to take place between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, after the pool’s normal hours of operation.

Perfectly ok if blacks demand this, but if white students demanded this? The orchestra leaders are wanting so badly to star a race war which will not turn out well for the demandies and the orchestra leaders

This is racism. If the same actions would be racism if the races were switched around, then it is racism. Pretty easy with this one.

So they postponed the event. The president of the college alleges they received
“numerous phone calls and emails from the public expressing hostility and threatening physical violence.”
hmmm...I wonder who really made those threats.

After The Claremont Independent and national news outlets reported that a pool party at Scripps College was exclusively for students who identified as persons of color (POC), the party’s organizers changed the event description to allow white students to attend. All are now welcome!)
A little push back against these leftists made them change their tune!
