Something about Ted gives me the willeys, but I agree with him on most issues and I will support him in the general every time even if I never vote for him in a primary.
And the 2016 primaries were pretty nasty all around. Ted can punch, but that was the first time he got punched back and he didn’t handle it real well.
It didn’t help much when Ted finally agreed to support Trump and manned phone banks and the next day or so the Entertainment Tonight story dropped.

This is Democrats with historically high turnout and Republicans not even flexing their muscles yet. I'm not one to get over confident, but the numbers beat idle uninformed speculation by non Texans any day of the week.

He did not campaign for Trump in 2016! I went to several events where Cruz was the speaker along with his Papa in 2016 after Trump got the nomination and they didn’t say one thing that was supportive of Trump and didn’t even mention his name!
