Here’s how you do chocolate covered frozen bananas:
Stick the popsicle stick in the banana when it’s at room temperature. Freeze the banana with the stick in it. Melt the chocolate and swirl the frozen banana in it. If you’re fast enough, you can also dip it in chopped nuts before the chocolate hardens.
I hate bananas, in ALL of its forms ( except for banana bread ), so NEVER do them; but, thanks for posting the hint, as others may be interested it the “how to”! :-)
“I’d serve fried chicken and mashed potatoes with sweet potato pie for dessert”
If Trump served this for a state dinner he’d be branded as being racist...especially it the visiting dignitary had dark skin
I hate them too. Can’t stand the smell when someone is eating one on the bus or in Starbucks.
I’m the same; thanks for posting all of that! :-)
They’re all ornamental, the ones we’re talking about: DC, Newark, Riverside Park in NYC. That’s not the point. If they bear fruit, like the one next-door to us when I was a kid, the birds eat it all anyway.
The point is that the tree is there in a public space for everyone, not to decorate your home or business or hair. It damages the tree and the tree has to compensate. Thankfully, most of the branches are high up enough that ordinary morons can’t reach them.

I eat my bananas straight, or in smoothies. But our local Hispanic store sells boxes of chocolate to melt and make the chocolate-covered frozen bananas. It looks kind of wonderful, and I will have to try.

They’re not for everyone, but since you like them, do try the frozen banana “hack”; it looks great. :-)
Erikson is about as conservative as the Easter Bunny is real. Give it a rest hes a vapid Anti-Trumper who is still throwing tantrums.
I ordered a lamb chop dinner at a little restaurant in Seattle. It was an ordinary looking place near where I was staying, so stopped in. The chops were pretty much the best thing I have ever eaten. I placed a second order; it was that good!
Oh, believe me, I know, and I’ve watched Gordon Ramsey do it dozens of time on YouTube. Watching it and doing it are two very different things. And yes, he makes it look easy.
WOW...good for you, lucking out that way! :-)
It really was!
Oh, I also make candies, mostly different types of clusters. I have done the corn starch trick with Maraschino cherries and the frozen bananas. I don’t like doing chocolate covered fruit because it is a pain. lol And, I get more burns than with my other weird concoctions.
