What they don’t need down there is more dilution.
I was privileged to have spent some time working in TX about fifteen years back, and hold those memories fondly.
FWIW, all the folks we know who have escaped, are escaping, will escape from New York are makers, not takers. Many are pi$$ed at having to move to maintain their standard of living after retirement. All vote accordingly.
Like I said, any state that gets them will be fortunate to have them.
