>SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, told President Moon Jae-in of South Korea when they met that he would abandon his nuclear weapons if the United States would agree to formally end the Korean War and promise that it would not invade his country, a South Korean government spokesman said Sunday.
In a faith-building gesture ahead of a summit meeting with President Trump, Mr. Kim also said he would invite experts and journalists from South Korea and the United States to watch the shutdown next month of his country’s only known underground nuclear test site.
The comments by Mr. Kim were made on Friday when the leaders of the two Koreas met at Panmunjom, a village on their shared border, the spokesman, Yoon Young-chan, said on Sunday, providing additional details of the meeting.
“I know the Americans are inherently disposed against us, but when they talk with us, they will see that I am not the kind of person who would shoot nuclear weapons to the south, over the Pacific or at the United States,” Mr. Kim told Mr. Moon, according to Mr. Yoon’s account of the meeting.

Question I haven’t heard answered yet: If the two countries reunite, then which “president” will assume control over the “new”, whole, Korea? And, what will happen to the other one?
Is “Rocket man” just pulling a fast one to re-stock his inventory because Trump won’t pay him off, or is he serious?
Will the totally brainwashed Norks end up being a lot of trouble, like terrorism, commie activism, etc?
We haven’t invaded for over 50 years and it’s not because of their phenomenal weapons systems and military might.
But if it keeps him happy,.....

What an incredible achievement for Trump if this can be achieved.
NK is run by crazy people so the chances aren’t good. But having NK off the threat list to us is worth much effort.

I just cannot fathom the shock those poor North Koreans will have upcoming to them, the modern era non restrictions media, food channels, Superbowl, Disneyland, full sized Chevy trucks, real roads even possibly.
It would be like taking a culture from the 1920’s and time traveling it to modern day.
And whats sobering would be is just how much freedom will they accept especially since they have been programmed for life to only understand hatred of anything outside their restricted world.
Might be months of parties and hangovers.
But i have hope they can be saved in time.
But i have doubts Kim will release them, i really think all he wants is battle meals for his troops.
