A subpoena that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) issued to the Justice Department last week made a broad request for all documents about an individual who people close to the matter say is a sensitive, longtime intelligence source for the CIA and FBI.
The Justice Department has refused to provide the documents. Intelligence officials say the material could jeopardize the source, a U.S. citizen who has aided the special counsel investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 campaign.
The subpoena, which was reviewed by The Washington Post, demands “all documents referring or related to the individual referenced in Chairman Nunes’ April 24, 2018 classified letter to Attorney General Sessions.” That is the only material the subpoena seeks.
In an interview Wednesday, Nunes maintained that he was “not interested in any individual.”
“We’re interested in documents that should have been given to us at least last fall,” he said. “That’s what we’re looking for, and any claim to the contrary is wrong, and they know it’s wrong.”

A sure bet: the closer one gets to the origin, the closer one gets to the Clintons.
Could the source be on his death bed?
Or the Jarrett/Obamas?
Does Nunes know the identity of this individual?
How would the IC hook him up with Weasel Mueller?

Probably the brit ex intel guy from 5 eyes, who resigned when the plot was exposed. Forget his name.
They said the source was an American citizen, so at least we can rule out Obama.

The accused in every one of these cases has the right to call witnesses in the case to depose and cross-examine them for information that may exonerate him. Mueller cannot hide behind "secrecy" in prosecuting these cases.
This is probably why the Russians have mounted such a strong and thorough defense in the case where the arraignment was held today.
Neither one is a U.S. citizen, so either Bongino is wrong or this article is wrong.
The House oversight committee has a right to this information. If it is not given, they need to start handing out dire consequences for DOJ.
Also, Trump needs to order Sessions to comply immediately.
I think I just saw something that said Nunes is going to Justice tomorrow to get a briefing on the mystery guy. Him and...Gowdy(?).
Who knows how much they will still hold back.

That would have been true in the old days, but watch for the MSM to defend Mueller’s actions saying something like the situation is so dire, so extraordinary, that it is ok to have an anonymous accuser bring secret charges against someone.
Anonymous accusers making secret charges. That is what the FBI is doing with Mueller.
Just got thru listening to his daily podcast.
He spent the entire podcast talking about this “source”.
He mentioned several names. Non of them citizens.
Yet, the article does say U.S. Citizen.
I’m certain Bongino was aware of this article.
So, I too am a little confused.
Anyway, Nunes must be given this source.
I didn’t realize that John McCain was a DEEP COVER agent who’s identity cannot be disclosed.
...but I guess that’s the case here.
If he is going to be used to remove a sitting POTUS, he damn well better be made public so we can all see what they are doing. They are on drugs if they think they can keep his identify concealed.
Sessions is recused. This seems to be why it was Acting Attorney General Rosenstein who appealed to the White House for intervention. He met with Chief of Staff John Kelly. Trump was informed and somehow, following the WH meeting, Rosenstein issued Nunes and Gowdy an invitation to a classified review of documents.
Can’t wait to hear where this ends after that classified mtg.
