You may be right about that. There appears to be a free-for-all in the special election to fill the rest of Blake Farenthold’s term.

The takeaway is that demonrats are animals who would elect an animal like this.

The Democratic nominee in Georgia wants to destroy the Confederate reliefs at Stone Mountain. So what does Lupe plan to do to top that? Call for demolishing the Alamo (as offensive to Mexicans)?

Hillary will plunge into this effort with frothing zeal.
I can see it becoming her pet project of the back half of 2018. She will sweat, strain, struggle and bend over backwards to see that Ms. Valdez gets a crack at this!

In raw numbers, how many democrats voted for her in the democrat primary vs how many Republicans voted for the Republican primary winner?

Already every major city in Texas is Democrat-controlled. Houston’s last mayor was a lesbian. San Antonio’s, a Marxist. And then there’s Austin... Houston’s current police chief is advocating gun control via ballot initiatives. Texas has more mosques than any other state in the nation.

Shall I go on?

Put the bong down. Texas is turning purple.

Dadgummit Drew, I feel bad enough already and you come along and tell the truth! That’s been a fear of mine for a long time.........bring yourselves to Texas but leave your politics behind. Bet not very many listen to that.......sigh

And here we go again... what was that Wendy bimbo that was supposed to ride planned parenthood defunding to the governors house in TX last time?

Austin is the TX outlier... no Dem is winning the TX governorship, let alone one who can’t understand how slot a/Tab b works

The equivalent of calling tolerant Texans “Deplorable’s”

Seriously, I was stunned at the emptiness of Valdez’s Victory speech.

Vote for ME! I will give you what you already have! The things I had as migrant child 65 years ago!

What a dumb old racist ****waffle.

. "Tonight is a victory for all of us who are fighting for a stronger and fairer Texas. A tolerant and diverse Texas. A Texas where the everyday person has a voice and a fair shot -- just as I had," Valdez told supporters.

Huh? I'm confused.

How much longer can Fort Worth, Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, San Angelo, Tyler, Waco, Nacogdoches, College Station, and Plano still outvote Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, and the Lower Rio Grande Valley?

I’m sure Lupe can think of something. Even some of the liberal newspaper boards expressed surprise at how poorly informed she is on state issues. These papers had argued for Andrew White as the stronger nominee.

Maybe she can have as a slogan: “Vote for Lupe. She’ll stand on her own two feet.”

Exactly how many democrats hold a statewide office in Texas?

Many Texas Dims will vote for her not because of anything she says or thinks but just because she is a woman and/or because she is Hispanic and/or because she is “gay”, just as many Dims did in the primary. With Dims identity politics is all the meaning they need. They really believe that electing people by their identity is making a statement that is more important that any qualities or qualifications the person may not have.
