An armed passerby has shot dead a gunman who opened fire on a packed Oklahoma restaurant in a terrifying shooting which left a woman and two children injured.
The shooter, a white male who was wearing eye glasses and ear protection at the time, was confronted by a person standing outside the restaurant as he tried to flee, and shot dead.
He was the only person killed in the shooting, which left four in hospital, and Police Captain Bo Matthews told reporters the armed civilian was 'a blessing'.

Other reports say the bystander retrieved his gun from car to confront the shooter. He was not carrying concealed.
Who the heck wears range style safety gear to a murder?
This has got to be a first.
Notice they are avoiding coverage of the hero!
The “405”?

LOL! OKC area code. You must not have seen the street racers show “Street Outlaws” discovery channel or one of those. But that’s ok.
The one pic showed the dead perp laying on some grass so we know the citizen shot him outside. So, he may have gotten his weapon from his vehicle and then confronted the perp.
In many states (non-lib), you can carry a concealed firearm in your car, regarded as an extension of your home.
The report on Fox said that ths shooter was confronted and told to drop his gun. He then apparently did not and aimed it at the good guy who shot and killed him
The report was unclear as to how a person outside was aware of events within the restraunt.
Police Captain Bo Matthews told reporters the armed civilian was ‘a blessing’.
That is a cop with his head in straight.

Cue the ranters saying the perp was done wrong.
Takin’ out the trash.
I bet it really sucked for the bad guy when the good guy radically changed the plan of the day.
SHOOTING BACK gets results!
Citizen shoots perp story and is hero - the media won’t like this story.
Yeah, but did you also see some of the snowflake commie-ments?
I did - didn’t feel like posting them.
Unfortunately, without a permit, OK is not one of them.

I suggest the citizen heard the shots from within the restaurant. An experienced person knows the sound of shots.
