Consider this:

IF the president is thinking of the political dynamite, he may be waiting until all the data pieces are discovered, then release it all, unredacted, to the American people, with enough time for US toi digest the criminalities and c crumble the enemy media spinning lies that will follow the release. If a special council to investigate and indict is empanled the President cannot have that luxury because he would be obstructing Justice.

I am praying this is what our President has in mind. The democrap party needs to be outed for the criminal enterprise it is and was in spades with the obamaroid and his fecal floaters in power. I would concede no trial for Clapper and Brennan if the complete outing occurs.

That is the way it is supposed to be done - surrogates do all of the negatives, and the main candidate only says the positive stuff. The whole Administration should by rights be throwing their bodies in the way of anything that might blowback on to the President, and taking all the heat for him.

Now that he is President, he finally has people to share the load, and it seems like some discipline is coming to the team. Success has a way of making join up.

A special counsel would take years.

There already is evidence of law breaking and the best way to handle it is NOT a special counsel but with grand juries and indictments.

Special counsels are cash cows for lawyers.

BTW, who is going to appoint the special counsel?...The ones who should be arrested and prosecuted, that's who.

A second Special Counsel will move forward at a glacial pace. We are talking years (not weeks or months) before anything would come to a resolution. A Special Counsel follows these steps:

1. Hire dozens and dozens of lawyers and staff (weeks to months)

2. "Investigate", which takes months to years

3. Draft and write reports (months to years)

I believe the reason President Trump is not calling for a second Special Counsel is because he knows that US Attorney Huber is better than a Special Counsel. Read GWU Law Professor Jonathon Turley's opinion piece on this from a few weeks ago.

We don't need another Mueller. The DOJ must use its already existing powers to go after the criminals.
