An admitted pedophile and convicted felon who spent more than a year in prison for threatening to kill President George W. Bush is legally able to run for Congress in Virginia this year because of a 2016 decision by then-Gov. Terry McAuliffe to restore voting rights to thousands of felons.
Nathan Larson, 37, of Catlett is running as an independent candidate in Virginias 10th Congressional District. He has expressed pro-pedophilia and incest views, and, in an interview with HuffPo this week, called it normal for men to be attracted to underage women.
According to Larsons campaign platform, he is for the legalization of child pornography and restoring benevolent white supremacy and patriarchy. He also refers to Adolf Hitler as a white supremacist hero.

He right, if the underage woman in question looks like an adult woman.
would it be wrong to wish this putz to get hit by a freight train?
Does that 3 year old look an adult woman to you?
Missing from this thought train is (I’m sure), the parameters that define a moral person somewhere in the state Constitution.
“He has expressed pro-pedophilia and incest views, and, in an interview with HuffPo this week, called it normal for men to be attracted to underage women.”
This POS needs to be shot, burned and hanged.
If the Democrats choose to run this POS fine. The person running against him should be able to come up with a reason he shouldnt win. His neighbors may want to adjust his proclivities.
More proof that the democRAT party is a criminal enterprise.
Thanks Terry McAuliffe, for opening this big stinky Pandoras Box. Look what just flew out of it.
Are you still thinking of running for President in 2020 ?
I can’t wait for the debates when all this dirty laundry is aired in campaign commercials.
I agree, let him run. Heck, I want to see him in the debates.
No. I don’t want the Pedo to run.
There are too many sick people who want to redo our laws. They would vote this man in, because too many normal voters are not paying attention.
If Terry McAuliffe decides to run for president, I’m sure his decision as governor that allows a felon to run for office will come back to bite him in the ass.

Somebody is failing at their job as a journalist.
Newsweek says he threatened to kill Obama in December 2008:

But Washington Post and USA Today can’t make up their minds if it was Obama or Bush:
Now Fox says it was Bush.
Actually one of the big injustices that we have in our system is this whole stripping of rights of a felon after he has served his sentence.
It is the serving of that sentence which is to restore him to society, not that he should be relegated forever to a second-class citizenship.
The Democrat Party should love this guy, after all he’s “for the children.”
How wonderful for Virginia.

A Boulder man who threatened to the president was sentenced Friday to 16 months in federal prison.
Nathan Daniel Larson, 29, sent an e-mail to the Secret Service last December stating, I am writing to inform you that in the near future, I will kill the President of the United States of America.
George W. Bush was president at the time, but the threat did not mention him by name.
Larson then laid out the reasons why he intended to kill the president and how he intended to carry out the assassination, according to a news release from Jeffrey Dorschner, spokesman for the Colorado U.S. Attorneys Office.
When the Secret Service interviewed Larson at his home, he stood by what he said, Dorschner said.
U.S. District Court Judge Philip A. Brimmer also ordered Larsen to three years of supervised release when he gets out of prison.
If he were claiming it was normal for adult women to desire underage boys a vocal contingent on Free Republic would likely vote for him.

DENVER (BNO NEWS) A Colorado citizen was sentenced to sixteen months in federal prison for threatening the President of the United States in an e-mail to the Secret Service, prosecutors said on Friday.
Nathan Daniel Larson, 29, of Boulder was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Philip Brimmer for threatening to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States.
Nathan Daniel Larson was first indicted by a federal grand jury in Denver on December 15 of last year and pled guilty before Judge Brimmer on May 14.
According to the stipulated facts contained in his plea agreement, on December 11, Larson sent an email to the Secret Service, stating that, I am writing to inform you that in the near future, I will kill the President of the United States of America. A spokesman for the U.S. Attorneys Office in Colorado, Jeff Dorschner, said it was not clear if he meant President Bush, who was still in office at the time, or President Obama who was sworn in the next month.
Larsons e-mail also laid out the reasons as to why he intended to kill the President, and how he intended to carry out the assassination. When questioned by Secret Service agents, Larson confirmed he was serious about his plans to kill the President and said he would carry them out.
The e-mail was sent from his home in Boulder. Prosecutors do not believe that he had taken any action to carry out or effectuate the actions threatened by in the e-mail.
After serving his prison sentence, Larson will serve 3 years of supervised release. The case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service and Larson was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Kurt Bohn.
