An Oklahoma congressional candidate has apologized after he was caught taking his opponents campaign signs from a street corner -- just before the states primary election.
Tom Guild, who bills himself as a progressive Democrat vying for Oklahomas 5th congressional district seat, was accused in a Facebook post of taking the signs of Kendra Horn, also a Democratic candidate. The Facebook post, which has been shared more than 100 times, included photos of Guild allegedly caught in the act.
Sometimes in the heat and rush of the campaign, mistakes are made, Guild said in a statement to The Oklahoman. On reflection, removing some of my opponents signs -- for any reason -- was a mistake on my part for which I sincerely apologize.

when they go low, we go high
“Mistakes are made,” the weasel words of a typical Democrat. No Oklahoman should vote for a weak man, who feels the need to steal from a woman.
When they go low, we go HI! You’re on Candid Camera!..............
Why? Is anyone’s vote really swayed by a yard sign?
He apologized for getting caught....................
Stealing from other people?
Yep, no doubt about it, Tom Guild is clearly a 'progressive Democrat'...
are they capable of doing anything right? It’s truly like some sort of compulsive disease that takes over their brain. I’m not the first to say it, but they have long crossed the line from wanting an honest debate and may the best ideas, win.
It’s nothing but ... I’m winning, at all costs and do not question the methods I use to win otherwise you’re a racist, homophone, islamaphobe, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...
So crimes are just mistakes in democrat world? I hope somebody punches him in the face and says, “oops, mistake”.
That was not a mistake. That was a purposeful action meant to be malicious.
People donated hard earned cash to his opponent's campaign, and she used that cash to have signs printed and placed.
It's not "mistakes were made," it's "larceny was committed."

They know they can’t win on the issues.
They have to stoop to low, vile, underhanded and evil ways to win.
FWIW, in some locations in the country, stealing is considered a crime/illegal and one could possibly be shot in the commission of the nefarious deed.
” I made a mistake”, how is that a mistake?
He got caught............by mistake...............
Bkmrk.
Saw it on noon news in Philadelphia. No mention of any Party affiliation, wonder why?
I thought that was a violation of election laws to do that? At least it is around my area in Alabama. Years back some people went around the area removing all the signs of one candidate and it caused a big fury.
