I wish these people wouldn't talk about details of a CW. It might finally occur to the leftists that they had better get armed. DON'T tell them! Some of them already realize this.
My friend works for a municipality in a large blue state as a trades person. He is required to attend many, what I call, propaganda classes that protect the agency from law suits, racial and gender bias, sexual harrassement, LGBQ-LMNOP re brain washing or transgender bathroom rules and regulations. This time it was preparedness and the instructor asked the class of a diverse ethnic mix “do we all have our go bags ready”? WELL AS YOU MAY HAVE EXPECTED there were a plethora of large question marks over these heads. FUNNY! no clue
As bad as things are in this country,I wouldn’t want to live in any of those scenarios pictured in the piece. As long as you have rational, faithful people in the country, things will work out. There was a prepper that lived in our area that got very active and tried to get other people to join his “ militia”. He died last year and his daughter had to get rid of his shipping container full of supplies. You can’t take it with you.
It is very hard to see how something like this could play out...I see it more as urban vs rural with roving bands.
The geographical splits just don’t make any sense.

If actual Civil War came, as opposed to the feds confiscating guns, it would play out in the large cities. The leftists and welfare riff raff in the cities would kill each other and would soon be begging for conservative America, those counties that voted for Trump, to save them. When the libs can’t produce for the riff raff what they’ve promised them in exchange for their votes that’s when the real action begins.

There could be thousand of minor actions, not all that significant (though they might seem significant at the time), just over and over and over again, with a gradual degrading of civilization...and no clear resolution...

I agree with you. Independence is the way to survive. We actually tried this in pre Y2K. It’s workable. Much of what you said my parents did in the depression. They always had food and capable of fixing or making anything needed for survival.
My mom told stories of people walking the countryside willing to work just for a meal. I’d like to see that happen in today’s dependent society where the guv is expected to provide for all.
What I have learned is those living in huge metro areas similar to NYC & Los Angeles will perish when food supplies, transportation and utilities are cut off. Such leftist infestations have created their own demise.
All fantasies. There is only about 1% of the country who deeply cares about these matters. Most people are pretty ambivalent. That’s why pollsters never ask “Do you care enough to get off your dead azz and do something about it?” because almost everyone would answer “not really”.
