In the olden days newspaper editors always kept guns at hand to protect themselves from irate readers.

I wonder how many weeks before The Newseum in Washington DC has a new exhibit. “The Capital Gazette, Journalist murder in the age of Trump.”
I give it 3-4 weeks.
BTW, if you visit DC, skip the Newseum. It’s the most expensive museum in town and nothing but a self-aggrandizing “look at us and how special we are” tribute to brave journalists.

That is just snarky. Whosoever made his way into the offices of the Capital Gazette had NOTHING to do with Donald Trump, and they knew it, but this was just Trump Derangement Syndrome boiling out from an otherwise unsuspected source.
You'd better scrub the Twitter pages of Wendi Winters, John McNamara and Rob Hiassen before you try selling that load here...
If they stop reporting fake news then they will stop getting called out for it.

If someone robs a bank and you know who they are then you can’t turn them in because they might get shot by the police.
In this case this attack has nothing to do with Trump so Trump is irrelevant anyways.
