I recall a conversation many years ago between my father and one of the guys that worked on our farm. My father was a staunch Republican, but the other was going to vote Democrat because "Democrats are for the little people".
It was a pervasive belief then, and probably holds to this day in many places.

Maybe, maybe not. Just because someone is a minority doesn’t automatically mean they are stupid. Trump has gained enormously in favorability among Blacks and Hispanics because unlike the Democrats who have been promising them the moon for decades and given then nothing, Trump has actually helped them in the area of jobs.
If DJT continues his successes he I’ll be hard to beat in 2020 but more importantly he will be remembered for his accomplishments as well as his unmasking of the Left to show them for what they truly are.
I don’t think many quite understand the damage that has been done to the Democrat Party, mostly self inflicted although a case could be made for Trump being the catalyst for the Left’s apparent flameout. This President had turned Washington upside down and imo changed how Campaigns will be run in the future.
Like I said, no one knows what the future holds but there is one immutable certainty and that is today, tomorrow and forever the people in America(because of how our system operates) will get the government they deserve.
