25 years ago? A bit knee-jerkey of McConnell or wise decision?
***********************************************
This time its not McConnell who is to blame. The fault lies with Tim Scott of South Carolina who has a bit of black racism about him, unfortunately. Hes good at most things but he certainly doesnt have the wisdom of Thomas Sowell.
I couldn’t find anything to disagree with either. His crime? He went with his observations on an opinion paper and didnt add any pc language.. . PC is killing our culture.
Pure cowardice. Thanks, Senators Scott and Rubio for being such blunderbusses. You are undermining the President and America with your failure to support this nomination.
Ive noticed that about Tim Scott before, the racism. Disappointing. Id had hopes for him at the beginning.
Ann Dunham was a hands on, on her back anthropologist. A limbs akimbo Margaret Mead.
Bounds was/is absolutely right. What he expressed was the dream of Martin Luther King.
Congress doesn't impeach on of its own members. There is no need to. Each chamber has the power to remove and bar a member without the ordeal of an impeachment and impeachment trial.
It's up to the public to remove members of Congress. The institution does not and will not police itself. It will only pretend to.
Hopefully the Republicans pick off a few red state Democrats in November. If so, renominates him then. He could have toned down some of the words a little 25 years ago, but he was and is essentially correct.
Scott is yet another case of the GOP trying to make a star of a woman or minority in their camp, even if they are not actually conservative, too thin in record to know what they are, or simply not star material.
Scott IMO was two out of three on that when they triple-promoted him to US Senator.
“Nothing is more offensive than the truth.”
Liberals will be offended by the truth, I will agree with you, but truth can never be offensive. I blame this on some worm trying to avoid controversy. That is silly, in that there will be nothing from here forward not considered “controversial”
That trigger word has lost much of its power.
It is my belief that the general populace getting sick to death of hearing it, was part of how Trump won.
It’s a joke amongst the people I know, used facetiously and sarcastically.
*If* someone actually uses it seriously, they just get their faces loudly laughed in.
Until Hip-Hop music is banned, they have no right to judge ... the music is laden with language
Everything in the excerpt is undeniably true, though telling the truth about race hustling is verboten to the leftists and—apparently—Sen. Tim Scott of S.C.
Bounds should be on the circuit court if for no other reason to fight this type of anti-white bigotry.
Why is n word exclusive to the black community and not universally offensive ?
I believe it was written in the Harvard Law Review, long before Obummer entered politics (formally).
What’s the old saying?
“To anger a conservative, tell him a lie.”
“To anger a liberal, tell him the truth.”
Okay thanks.
Knee-jerkeythe democrats had a clan member for years the media and left had no problem with it.
