This should be on all of the “shows” right now but they’d prefer to listen to the Senators pretend like THEY are getting things done. Why isn’t every Repuke Senator on t.v right now telling the world how great Trump’s negotiations are working out? If they were on his team they sure would. Spoiler, they’re not

And the CNBC propagandist adding a zinger about the President's aid to farmers statement yesterday.

These so called journalists aren't on America's side, ever.

In other words, Trump doesn’t want tariffs, he wants real free trade.

Agree....listening to these lame-brained, career politicians who’ve NEVER signed the BACK of a check...ask about Trump’s negotiations, is hilarious.

Especially considering they NEVER asked these questions of 0dorka’s GIVE AWAY’s to Iran, etc.

“fair trade regime”

One hundred percent fair trade will leave the US with trade deficits in the hundreds of billions each year.

China simply has healthier citizens and lower costs, generally less than half those of the US.

When it comes money, I trust Trump’s instincts.

NOW, despite all the kvetching and whining about another $12B in Farm Subsidies for soy farmers, against an $817B trade deficit, . . . .

China’s betting to use our Soy Farmers to cut Trump off in Congress. We should just Hand Over the $12B and get through this next election.

Deny the Rats. Give them Nothing. China can’t hang tough through another 18 months after Nov.

They will cave like the EU did.

Glad this part of Trump’s trade war is over — it could’ve easily gotten out of control. Both sides stood back from the brink.

“Trump doesn’t want tariffs, he wants real free trade”

Free trade is fine if you are the low cost producer.

The US has high costs - regulatory, waste disposal, labor & health care cost coverage.

The Chinese are also better organized, with entire cities devoted to specialized production.

Bush was no better. He could have done exactly what Trump is doing but didn’t.

“President Donald Trump on Wednesday secured concessions from Europe”

The article linked to had the EU spokeman denying that concessions were made:

“No concessions made.”

[about 35% down]

I like the sequence. Europe first. They are our historical allies and our heritage. That puts momentum and pressure on the NAFTA and China talks.

HAHAHAHAHA!

Soy Bean tariffs, which China can’t afford;

POTUS on top of the hr radio news says;

“The EU is going to be buying a LOT of our Soy Beans.”

Katie Bar The Door!

There goes China’s one remaining Big Bluff. They were hoping to cut off Trump in Congress by hurting our Soy Farmers.

Now it ain’t gonna happen and we probably won’t need to buy their votes with additional subsidies either. Just ship them to the EU instead of China.

“I Love It When A Plan Comes Together!”

And no I’m not Sick of Winning Yet. Not One Bit.

Now we know Why the EU sent China packing when they tried to form an Anti-America Trade Alliance with Europe.

The Soy Bean hiccup was already on the EU table.

Keep it coming Mr President!

Exactly, and that is exactly what he has said. He said the ideal is reciprocal free trade but 1) we’re not going to be chumps and 2) he is willing to use tariffs or the threat of tariffs to make free trade happen. It seems to have worked with Europe.

What’s funny is that the ankle biting weasel Paul Ryan came out this morning snarking about tariffs. Ryan would have enthusiastically avoided putting tariffs on Euro products while never forcing the same thing in the other direction. That’s where Trump has beaten Ryan. Ironically the “protectionist bully” Trump has managed to achieve an outcome closer to the theoretical ideal than supposed free trade purist (but really trade masochist) Ryan could or would have. That’s because Trump is willing to ruffle feathers and use leverage.
