He was an amazing governor. Make no mistake about that.
Shut down a democrat corruption industry when he was there. Built the best road in the state from Roswell up to I-40 and Albuquerque up to the four corners.

Both roads were deathtrap rural single lanes before that routinely had wrecks killing 5, 6, 8 at a time.
He snookered the democrats by using some innovative and legal type funding that kept the Democrat bribe culture outta the game.
They despised him for that.

Today he has gone off the deep end, gun banner, and also nasty. But he used to be a very good guy.

The question then is what happened? Was he offered ‘arrangements’ he could not refuse or what? When a person radically changes temperament and philosophy there is generally a very bad reason for it.

Not just his politics that have changed. He had a reputation as a really clean-cut guy: no alcohol, running marathons, strict diet, etc.

Now, I don’t think legal marijuana is just a policy position for him.

Why do you call him a gun banner? I haven't heard that.
