Constitutional amendment that:

1) limits federal election voting to US Citizens
2) Requires states to maintain separate federal voting rolls
3) Requires states to notify each other when a person moves to another state and obtains either voter registration or drivers license
4) requires an entire purge of the federal voting roll 30 days after the Presidential inaugration
5) requires in person registration to vote
6) requires ID to both register and to vote

Great idea, except Constitutional Ammendments require 3/4 of states to vote for it, the blue states will scream bloody murder, and most states will claim it will cost more than they can afford to implement it. (Except for printing costs, I always wonder what they’re charging extra for. Don’t all the people involved in running and operating the state get paid, already?)

That process started 45 years ago, when the government required every newborn receive a social security card. But a voter ID is not required for every citizen -— only those who are old enough and want to vote. Just like a drivers license isn’t required unless you are old enough, and want to drive. I understand the argument, though. And it’s going to happen, eventually, just like the prophecy says; we can’t stop it, though we may be able to slow it down some.

That is a myth. Most of the time the US doesn’t know who is or is eligible for dual citizenship. Just about every legal immigrant from Mexico is still always considered a Mexican citizen. Most countries are the same.

You educate yourself, you smart alec. While John Jay served overseas he had children that were born overseas, he wanted to make sure they were natural born citizen. If he had not succeeded all children that were born overseas to natural born citizen either one parent or both parents became automatically citizen at birth. Hence Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen and was qualified to run in 2016 for president when he ran.

While that may be true, (were her parents US citizens???) Cruz’s father was a Cuban living in Canada. Apparently Cruz had the potential to claim 3 separate citizenships!!!!!

While he may be (and now is) a US Citizen, he is not, by definition, ta Natural Born Citizen. NBCs must be born in the US to US Citizen parents.

MOTE that NbC is a QUALITY or type of born citizenship. It has NO significance in American law EXCEPT as a requirement to hold the Office of the President. This is not a burdensome requirement. The greatest number of US citizens are NBCs.
