Why did POTUS Trump publicly call on AG Sessions to ‘end’ Mueller probe? We have some theories
The National Sentinel ^ | 8/1/18 | USA Features

Call to Action: On Wednesday POTUS Donald Trump did something that seemingly came out of nowhere: He took to Twitter to publicly call for his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, to end the “witch hunt” investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

In a series of tweets, Trump lambasted his AG — nothing new there — while outlining his ‘case’ for ending the probe.

So why did the president chose today to make these allegations and to publicly call on Jeff Sessions to shut down the Mueller probe — when POTUS himself can do it?

Only reason for Sessions and Rosenstein being on the payroll at our expense is the RINOs declared they would join the Dems and refuse to consent to approve of any person Trump would nominate as AG. Thus, no real AG Trump could trust if the junior assistant associate part-time interim AG is brought in.

I have heard that and have no way of knowing if it is true. RINOs betraying Trump is certainly true.

Actually, yes.

Consider that in November the Democrats being at their frenzied looniest may be desirable. It isn’t necessarily the case that ending the witch hunt will make them the most frenzied, as its existence helps keeps them agitated. But demanding it be ended? ... Now that’s possibly a whole other ball of wax.

Expect to ears weeks work of Trump protecting friends or its equivalent after every such statement.

The irony is of course that he isn’t. But the Democrats sure circle the wagons around their own at every opportunity.

“...get to the heart of the Stain-esque actions of the tin pot turd world dictator

You got that right. He was the mother of all stains....”
He’s nothing but a big old nasty fudge stain on Lady Liberty’s panties.
He’ll wash right out with some Trump-style OxyClean.....
However, the stain was pretty putrid when it happened.....

I think he’s had it with the RINOs too. He’s getting into fight mode. I think this tweetstorm is part of POTUS’s fall campaign kickoff. If the RINOs want Trump voters to come out, they need to get in line and play nice. Like I said, Armageddon.

“I think POTUS figures that if the Democrats in the House want to push for impeachment, he might as well get it started so the Republicans can benfit from voter resentment. A knock-down battle would be preferable to the state of things at present.”

Amen. It’s working with China. Why not here?

He is trolling the opposition. He does that rather well and entertainingly.

Exactly. They’ll be writing books about 2018, the most amazing midterm election in modern history. Pass the popcorn.

That brings up an important point. If Sleepy is fired or resigns, does his replacement have to be voted on by the Senate...or not? If he resigns, can Trump replace him without approval or recess appoint Guliani?

Trump is giving Sleepy Sessions one last chance to DO HIS JOB before he fires his worthless arse. The fact that RosenRat STILL HAS HIS JOB is beyond outrageous.

Trump has been tweeting about this for months. Why should anyone believe this is a last chance for Sessions?

Any appointment to AG would need confirmation. Recess appointments don’t work because they’ve discovered a maneuver to keep the Senate in session 24/7/365.

Which is why Trump is talking shutdown IMO! It’s to squeeze the RINOs to vote for the wall!

Very few people mention what you did, which shows your acumen and insight:

that our duly elected President should be free to pay all his attention to making our country safer and richer and more free.

Since CNN is the only source of most USA news in countries around the globe, they think:
the Americans hate Trump like we do and want him overthrown. They are weak and it is time to attack them and test them everywhere.

Trump is distracted by Mueller and the Dems’ accusations every day. They want him to fail, even to bring on war and financial disaster if it will push their Dem fortunes higher.

If the evil Dems to win the House and they tie up his administration with impeachment and several new hearings, then the American people are to blame and deserve us to punish them.

May God forbid that the evil Dems win. Amen.

What sick, demented evil demons.
I’m holding myself back but you get my meanings.

I think he does it because he loves watching the media go nuts. It’s like using a laser to get a cat to chase it.

He fires Sessions, Rosenstein becomes active AG until a replacement is confirmed, which could take months.

Rosenstein then gets to pick another Swamp dweller for his Deputy Director.

No good way out of this

This is the ultimate poker match. At a certain point, Trump is operating purely on intuition. All the facts are known to everyone; we're way beyond the point of further discovery.

So, it comes down to a decision on when to begin firing - figuratively & literally. Do you wait until after November, or bring down the columns beforehand? If before November, then when? Now, while everyone is on vacation?

Consider the information Ike was dealing with when he made the 'go' decision for D-day. Some were advising to wait until the weather cleared, others to act before further leaks/defensive measures could be taken. Other considerations were troops were actually forward deployed and waiting further orders.

What Trump decides to act, we need to trust & support his decision. Critical points in history have turned when a finality is reached.

We get that, and got it over a year ago. Trump is deliberately not firing Sessions in order to eliminate any hint of alleged improprieties by ankle-biting Democrats and Never Trumpers.

I agree, we’re seeing a strategic gambit here. He’s seizing the initiative.
