Killing children? Inexcusable.
Adults? I am quite in favor of this. If my dog has incurable cancer and is in pain, we are merciful and provide a relatively quick and painless death.
It if I am slowly dying of Pancreatic cancer, in pain with no hope of recovery - I must suffer until I die. Why? Because someone completely unrelated and uninvolved in my life decides my fate. I disagree. I, and I alone, should be the only one to decide my fate.
Then you, and you alone, should be the one to pay for it, make all the arrangements, and carry it out.
For God’s sake don’t campaign for “ legal” euthanasia, which entails the corruption of the political, legal, and medical professions.
It should be strictly DIY.

Suicide is the death of cowards. Human life is sacred--even your own, when ill.
....It if I am slowly dying of Pancreatic cancer, in pain with no hope of recovery.....
I think pancreatic cancer moves fast. And as the others have said: go ahead and wack yourself. Don’t make me a party to your cowardice.
If you feel froggy, jump. You had better make amends to your loved ones in advance before you quit the game.
There are unintended consequences tied into this law. About a year ago, I read a piece where a guy within the prison system of Belgium (who is basically there on a life sentence) asked for the euthanization service because he couldn’t cope with life in prison for the remainder of his life. That got the pro-folks stirred up because they didn’t want a trend to start up and literally dozens of Belgium prisoners requesting as their way out in life.
