Her so-called Republican opponent has not been seen or heard from. I heard he didn't spend a dime on advertising. It's like he's a candidate in name only. So she's basically unopposed.
Maybe it was her deep understanding of the Middle East.

Having listened to some of her interviews I just couldn’t stand having a conversation with her.
I don’t think socialism or communism or anything similar should be allowed in elections. As a matter of fact I think we should have citizen candidates who serve one term. No politics. Then go home. There are enough laws.
She beat ten-term incumbent Slovenly Joe Crowley by 15 points despite being outspent 5 to 1.
In the 2016 general, Slovenly Joe got 74.80% to 15.48% for the Republican. The district is 18.41% white vs 49.80% hispanic (hint: Alexandria is Hispanic).
How will she not win in November? Who will win instead? The Republican??
I hope Trump and the GOP get it, and take on a dead serious effort to defeat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez this coming November 6, 2018 in NYC. She can be easily beaten.....by using the “acceptable” GOP opponent. And...I know this may sound nutty, but, Trump should also go after Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts. She, too, can beaten in her own backyard.

Actually, the man she stunningly defeated, Crowley, is running as an "independent" in the General Election, and I'm betting that he will win... and then switch to Dem, and get his position back as the #4 House Dem, and likely successor to Pelosi.
