The jury in the financial fraud trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort wants to know what to do if it cannot reach a consensus for a single count in the case.
Jurors posed the question to U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III on their fourth day of deliberations. They also said they would need a new verdict form.

It means they all changed their verdicts after cnn wanted to expose their names to the public and the judge admitted to getting death threats.
Or a Deep State lie to get a mistrial and a “do over” jury with their names and addresses being broadcast on the MSM 24/7 until the “right” verdict emerges.

It would require “fruit from the poison tree” to convict on any count.
The witness was the tax cheat.
Sadly most jury selections are about as smart as politicians...they assume the role but haven’t a clue how to operate.

Agreed. I’ve never been tried by a jury before - but after serving on one about 15 years ago, I told myself that if I ever got in big trouble, I’d ask for a bench trial.
Oh stop it! You are blaming the victim of a criminal conspiracy to first try to prevent Trump from winning the election and then to box him in as much as possible to either destroy his presidency or get him impeached. At the time Trump appointed Sessions, almost everyone on the Right was thrilled. Sessions promptly betrayed not only the President, but all of us. Refusing to step aside, he remained as a block to Trump. His buddies in the Senate have said they will not hold a vote to approve a new AG nominee if Trump fires Sessions. Common sense says Sessions was a Trojan horse right from the get-go. He might even have been the “insurance policy.”

Yes, if a mistrial occurrs, the case remains with Ellis. The senior judge in that division is Brinkima, and she could reassign it, but in my experiance with more than a few cases there, it will go back to Ellis.
