My goodness, they’re both tiny!
There’s a mixture in my family. Three of my grandparents were short and one was tall. Mom and Dad were both tall but Dad’s sister was short. My brother and I, and three cousins, are tall and my sister and one cousin are short. The cousin is reeeeeally short .... 4’10”!
Some of the kittehs are starting to stir a bit. I’ll just sit tucked in this corner to stay out of harm’s way. LOL

I had a YAG laser capsulotomy on each eye on Wednesday...a follow-up needed by about 35% of cataract surgery folks.
I can see much better, but man, do I have a lot of floaters. I’ve had them for years, but there are more now. I’m hoping it just takes a few days for them to settle down. My follow-up is next Thursday and we will see.
It’s been sunny and in the mid 60s all week, so cloud cover tonight is nice. I’m going to have to water the lawn soon.

Sounds like someone’s having a bad evening. :-(
We’re familiar with the sound. Life Flight helicopters fly over the farm pretty regularly. Never a good sound.

Charlie’s was really good!
I hope that’s the last of the big earthquakes for a while. Gets nervewracking to think who’s next. Any more in your area?

Nope...that’s never a good sound. Hope no death involved.
How close did those Russian bombers get today? That had to be a shock, too!

Good evening,radu...good to hear you got a little rain. Your trees and flowers are probably happy for a little drink.
Overcast here and possible sprinkles tonight. It’s been sunny and warm for more than a week.

I’ve enjoyed all of Charles’s videos. Informative, he has a great eye for detail, and he’s just a funny guy.
Nothing over here besides the jiggle along the New Madrid but those happen frequently so it’s no concern. The “who’s next” happened just a little while ago between Fiji and New Zealand with a 5.

Hey there, Kathy.
Hope you can get the rain they’re predicting. I know how frustrating it can be to get hopes up and none falls.
We got lucky today, at the last minute.
We have a few more hot, steamy days and then a cold front is SUPPOSED to come through to cool us off next week. We’re ready for that!

No slow down at all...busy, busy day, and tomorrow will not be any better. Because of all the Wednesday problems, and it not being a pay week, we had til 2pm today to get corrections identified and made. I went back to the office last night to get my cheat sheets so I could work on edits last night. It’s a good thing because it took me every minute to find issues, get answers, and make corrections.
And I have more on my list for tomorrow that I can possibly get done. I will work an hour and a half on Saturday to make up my eye surgery time on Wednesday, and then stay on my own dime for a bit.
So far this new system, with no training, sucks!!

You know the “feeling”...a bad day for someone for sure. The valley has a good hospital, but I think the trauma problems come here.

Dang, what a mess they’ve made for all of you!
I’m still waiting for mutiny. LOL! At the rate things are going, it’s bound to happen somewhere among the people caught up in the mess.
