Former Cowboys RB Joseph Randle arrested, charged with rape
Sporting News ^ | 9-7-2018 | Marc Lancaster

Joseph Randle was arrested early Friday morning in Wichita, Kansas, and charged with rape, the latest run-in with authorities for the former Cowboys running back.

Online records show Randle, 26, was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail at 3:43 a.m. and charged with rape and a probation violation. There was no bond listed for either charge.

The Wichita Eagle noted Randle was sentenced to five years' probation in June after being found guilty of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, criminal threat and marijuana possession.

That conviction stemmed from a 2016 incident in which Randle intentionally backed into three people with his car after he was asked to leave a party.

Randle had been free while awaiting sentencing on a different case, which was set for Oct. 9.

Since being cut by the Cowboys three years ago, Randle has been arrested numerous times in Texas and Kansas.

Randle played for Dallas from 2013-15. He opened the 2015 season as the Cowboys' starting running back, holding that role through six games before he was benched and eventually waived.

Next time you try to tarnish a man’s image, especially on a public forum, you better have some evidence to back it up.

The NFL is a microcosm of BLACK society, with its far higher rates of crime-participation, fatherless children and other social pathologies - including, obviously, hostility to the USA.

All except the one difference, the players ae multi-millionaires. Making the saying true, you can take the thug out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the thug.

Impressive list.

Fantasy felon league? You try to select a team that will have the highest level of criminality by year’s end. (adding up the maximum jail time for each arrest charge)

The wealth and fame likely adds to sense of invincibility and legal impunity.

Yeah, that and seeing other famous powerful people get away with rape and murder, stealing billions of dollars, etc.

Show me the data that supports your assumption. Your claim that the majority of NFL athletes are criminals and deadbeat fathers is bulls*^t and anecdotal.

I should not have said that in post 19. It was uncalled for and I do apologize.

Despite our disagreement, that was uncalled for.

Check this out, it’s called real data.
Using this USA Today arrest data base it’s fairly easy to figure out the percentage of bad guys to good guys.
There are 901 arrests over the last 18 years. That comes out to 50.5 arrests per year. There are 2016 players in the NFL.
53 players on the active roster of each team, and 10 players on the practice squad roster of each team. The percentage of bad guys in the NFL using your supplied data is a whopping 2.48%. The math doesn’t lie. So tell me again how the majority of NFL players are thugs. I’ll wait...

Covenantor and I both gave you the info you seek. I see you’re a die hard athletic supporter of the NFL; Cowboys to be exact.

I wish the NFL was filled with good role models but a high percentage of them are just thugs. It has been this way going back, oh, decades at least. It’s the nature of the game I guess.

See post #34. I broke your data down to percentage. 2.48% are thugs according to the data you supplied. Again, the math doesn’t lie. Assumptions and anecdotal evidence are the tools of liberals......

If he’d played his cards right and shamed the nation like Kaepernick, he could have been screwing the United States for the Big Bucks.

As it is, he’s nothing more than a garden variety rapist.

Okay, it appears you're right, kind of.

NFL Arrest provides an interactive visualized database of National Football League player Arrests & Charges. Learn about your rival team's history with the law, break down arrests by Player, Position, Crime and Team. Keep in mind there are 1700 NFL Players and their arrest rates are lower than the USA arrest rate. 4.71% Active Players Arrested 81arrested 1720active

http://www.nflarrest.com/#ByYear

However, think about it, even at 4.71%, that's abysmally high for a sport where players are idolized. I could say the same thing about the MBl and NBA. These players should be held to a higher standard. Many times they commit crimes and instead of having to pay their just due; the courts are somehow bought off so the player can get back on the field.

It's the double standard but then again those connected in politics or people who have lived in one area (small town) can many times get the punishment or even the crime itself expunged. This is the kind of thing that really chaps my hide. In a just America everyone is equal under the eyes of the law but it just isn't so.

I don't usually take the time to provide proof. This isn't a court of law and those who ask for proof are just lazy. They should do the research themselves but I was curious so I did it - this time.

You’ve got that backwards. In the NFL, it’s more like 10% are honest, upright citizens.
