The Other Scandal (the homosexual predator problem AND the pro-invasion, pro-Islam problem)

I decided to put this in News/Activism rather than the Religion Forum because it's more about Politics/Policy than it is about Faith and Morals.

On second thought, it's about both: the Politics/Policy being wrested away from the Church and used catastrophically against its Faith and Morals.

In short: the traditional, historic faith and morals of Catholicism would incline the Church-as-institution in exactly the opposite direction: against sexual predation and against Islamic invasion predation.

The spectacle of the Church acting against her own mandate as Church, is appalling. The walls and towers of the city have apparently been taken over by traitors. It's the Enemy inside the gates.

So my plea to Catholics and all others of good will: grieve but don't leave.

No fear, no flight.

It's time to fight.

It’s the left. As for the Church, it should be concerned that Europe be Catholic and not turn to Islam. That’s basic.

The church is setting itself up for spiritual demise ( such as by not cleaning up its homosexual child abuse allegations) and physical annihilation ( by pretending that Islam prays to anyone but Allah-Satan, and by supporting/enabling the Islamic invasions into Europe and North America— extremely dangerous - it took The Spanish people over 700 years to get their Muslim conquerers out of Spain after the Muslims got in)

All true.

But the really interesting question is, what comes after annihilation?

… but when the trial of this sifting is past, a great power will flow from a more spiritualized and simplified Church. Men in a totally planned world will find themselves unspeakably lonely. If they have completely lost sight of God, they will feel the whole horror of their poverty. Then they will discover the little flock of believers as something wholly new. They will discover it as a hope that is meant for them, an answer for which they have always been searching in secret.

Joseph Ratzinger, 1969

Pope JPII addressed the issue of illegal immigration specifically in 1996 in the yearly, Papal address on immigration.

To paraphrase; illegal immigrants should be welcomed TO THE EXTENT THE COUNTRY IS ABLE. If a country is not able (reasons vary), they should help immigrants find another country or SEND THEM HOME.

Year after year, in spite of efforts by those of us on the border to beg the Bishops to include the above in their millions of pro invaders’ words, that admonishment from JPII was never or rarely quoted.

The Bishops seem more Democrat in the United States than Catholic. They ignore their American flock in favor of immigrants.

it took The Spanish people over 700 years to get their Muslim conquerors out of Spain after the Muslims got in

So how long will it take the Democrats to get the commies out of their party? Oh wait, they should just change their name to the Communist Party of the United States. And then another group who are not communists could call themselves Democrats.

Dang 71%! I am Catholic and I don’t like this pope. I think he is more popular among leftists than he is among religious people.

‘grieve but don’t leave.’

you acknowledge the church has in effect become the enemy; you then urge not to leave...why would you advocate communion with your antagonist...?

I don’t want Francis to resign because Jesus gave us the structure of the Church. I don’t think this is blasphemous but it may be, I pray God takes care of it in a natural way, hopefully after his true conversion and repentance.

The other scenario I pray for is a true conversion, the likes of St. Paul’s conversion. I pray this for Francis and those priests blatantly choosing to live in sin.

Because the Church IS the Body of Christ. Sinful popes and priests cannot destroy it because it was established by Christ and He promised it would last until the end of time.

Saying Christ’s church is the enemy is the same as calling Christ the enemy.

Jesus came to save sinners.

He does not fail in His purpose.

But it caused Him much suffering along the way, caused Him to suffer total loss (humanly speaking) in the end: stripped, murdered, and buried in a borrowed grave.

I don't think He's offering us a way out of suffering. He's offering us a supernatural motive, and a supernatural meaning, for the choice to "Stay and suffer."

And since it's, humanly speaking, beyond out power to do this, He's offering us the power.

There's no doubt the present pope is more popular with the global Left than with informed and believing Catholics.

But the Church is not the Mystical Body of the Pope. It's the Mystical Body of Christ.

Jesus knew Peter would fail Him. It is one of the few things which is clearly recounted in all Four Gospels.

I think news about this growing scandal needs to be in News and not be hidden behind the Catholic Caucus label.

It depends on what kind of a discussion you're looking for.

I put it in News because I was looking for any random FReepers comments across the board, political and cultural as well as religious.

However, if I wanted to focus on in-house discussion (like, Catholic FReepers, what is your parish doing?") or just wanted to avoid incessant provocations and distractions like ""Why do you papists worship Demigoddess Mary?" -- I'd use the Caucus option.

yes indeed. you ask an excellent question about the D party.

I think it should be seriously investigated along with SorozNazi and his funding ... purchase of the DNC and ?

there used to be some D politicians who weren’t stark raving nuts, and even some who were loyal to USA
