I suspect that Sessions will be fired after the mid-term elections and be replaced by someone who will have the guts to start hammering the DOJ and their cohorts in court.

Justice has become nothing more than a DISCOVERY process and NO longer involves prosecution.
Shouldn't those be released before the election so that the voters know what they are voting for?
The problem the rank and file have is there is really no whistle-blower protection. They know they can't leak until their retirement is fully vested. I read a story a few months ago about a Florida agent. He didn't like the way things were going at headquarters regarding a terrorism case. He leaked to the Miami press and then to a Congressional aide. Headquarters found out about it. They gave him a 60 day suspension without pay and then he retired. He is a highly regarded terrorism expert. He didn't have kind words about McCabe when he got fired.
Prosecute the lovebirds. If warranted, hang them. Nothing you can do with the reporters that I know. I already think they’re scum and liars. Off with their ratings! Down with their readership and circulation!

That has nothing to do with not wanting to fight on or rolling over and giving up. I and those around me will fight on, until the end - not only for ourselves but for our kids, grandkids, and generations yet to come. But the odds are increasingly stacked against us by the generations long wiles of the enemy and the foolishness of our "friends", especially those in our effete political, legal, and educational classes.
Our national decline started with the Supreme Court decisions of 1962-63 which drove God out of the public squares and out of the schools. We acquiesced to that demonic plot. Now the putrid results have slowly seeped deep and wide into our culture and national character. For the past generation or two the Left has pretty much taken over the education and indoctrination of our kids while the bad culture has increasingly polluted nearly everything else.
Without a massive spiritual revival and a miraculous national regeneration of our Founding documents and vision, the game is likely over. The USA will maybe survive in some reduced form, but once Trump is gone the precipitous decline will begin again and an awful end to freedom, liberty, and the American Dream will shortly arrive.
The relatively Godly society of 70 years ago has become the full-on Gimmee society with the most ignorant (and young) among us enthusiastically embracing socialism and tyranny in droves. Additionally, we have let in hordes of both legal immigrants and illegal aliens many if not most of whom embrace all but our Constitutional values. ("Diversity Is Our Strength!", which is total bullsh!t) It has all been part of the destructive Plan.
It's not game over yet, but it is the last half of the 9th inning. This is our last chance. Thank God we at least have a real fighting General in Donald Trump. But we must return to our national motto, "In God We Trust".

I do not agree with you that republicans are worse than the dimocrats. You have that wrong. The RINOs are nothing to write home about, but the leftist commies are just like their breather in Moscow, red through and through.
No they are not abandoning anything. It is their grandchildren that they are so worried about. That this nation is rapidly going south with little hope. Show me who else other than Trump, in the past 10, 15, or 20 years on the right side of the street have proven to be like or near like Trump. None that I can remember. Reagan is the very last that I can remember that did any good. Those since, RINO or dimocrat, all are on the left. They know that this world is dying away and with no hope outside of the LORD. They know that those who lead this nation, there are few who follow the LORD, and this nation is not in good position.
I agree about the ballot box. The left is doing well in doing what they do best, cheat to win. The cheating is only going to get worse. There are fewer and fewer of us who was born in the 1940s and 50s. The 30s and older are getting very, very old. My brother is 83. He is starting to really feel his years. Our groups will be gone in a few years, and the younger generations are not as conservative. When the majority of these younger people say they want socialism, it won’t take many years for them to have it. Once all our generations are gone, they will be the ones making those decisions. They will get what they want.

Being born in 1949, I see the Nation exactly as you described. The Supreme Court ruled in 1962 to remove God from public schools. This goes right back to the Supreme Court’s landmark Everson vs the Board of Education of 1947. Hugo Black the progressive FDR appointment created the modern day constitutional principle of separation of church and state out of thin air.
