Conservative news giant Matt Drudge on Friday made a somber prediction about Republicans’ chances in the November midterm elections, predicting President Donald Trump will see his party lose 60 seats in the House of Representatives.
Drudge, who runs the influential Drudge Report, compared the upcoming midterms to the electoral bloodbath Democrats suffered in the 2010 midterm elections under former President Barack Obama.

Unfortunately, the biggest driver in midterm elections is anti-incumbent president protest voters.
Democrats will have a far easier time energizing their impeach-Trump base than the GOP will have energizing their keep-Trump base.
If the Republicans lose seats in the House it will be because of this, and nobody’s fault - not some “lost opportunity” - it’s just the way it is.
If the Republicans can hold onto the House, it will be a major victory - a real accomplishment.

election day 2016 i was following Drudge and posting his headlines here at FR...around 7PM he had some cryptic headline about “the wall coming down” and/or “changes in the rust belt”..i thought “WTH?” and cursed him as the early results came in...
He was referring to the rats blue wall coming down in the rust belt and he was correct...i would not just blow this off..
I just did a spreadsheet dropping DC and using 440800 as a divisor. Rounding normally, with a minimum of one, yields a total of 700 seats. In the 2016 election, using this system, Trump would have won 457 of 800 electoral votes. California, New York, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii gives the Dims a base of 20.8% of the electoral votes needed to win.

Like the moon, Drudge goes through phases. Like the tidewater, his view of Trump goes up and down. So far as I can see, he's not consistently anything when it comes to Donald Trump.

Conservatives should have been taking matters into their own hands the day Trump got elected, attending schoolboard meetings, taking over county and village boards and electing a pro-2nd amendment, constitutional sheriff.
If you don’t have control of your local community and have not elected a sheriff who has the legal and armed muscle to confront and repel the federal fascist bureaucrats, you are going to lose your job, your property and your children when the leftist traitors vote in another democrat president in 2024.
You gotta establish a defensive perimeter to protect your community, where everything of value to you exists. Conservatives have a diminishing number of years to get their sh*t together.
